We did this is a group of 6. The first impression is that this is a room constructed of materials sourced from as cheap as they could find. Then you realise there’s some hidden tech behind it. What that leaves is a room that requires some imagination, much like you’re playing with your fellow 8-year-old friends and building a fort out of cushions and blankets in your lounge room, and then hiding the fact that the lounge chair actually has a hidden launcher system. Come in here expecting a story that is slowly told out over the time period. Don’t rush it. Enjoy the story and the puzzles. The puzzles are few but some can be complex. If you rush to get through within 40 minutes like one of the previous reviewers, I think you are missing the point of this room.
The room decor was similar to what I would have done when I was 8 years old using old shoeboxes, bits of string, glue sticks and whatever I could find in dad’s old toolbox. Combined with some hidden high tech equipment, the room requires a good dose of imagination. And it works really well.
Yes
The puzzles are few but challenging. The room is much more about the story and how it’s told.

It’s very very linear. I wouldn’t come in here with too many people.

The white board marker used to take personal notes had run out. Not a big deal. Just called on the hint system and they replaced it.

Some puzzles require good colour discrimination. One puzzle required good pitch discrimination.

This was advertised as up to 9 players but since puzzles were linear and only required 1 person per puzzle, even with just 2 of us, one person just sat out while the other did the puzzles. No idea what 9 people would do in a room like this! We left the room less than 40mins into the 100min game. Clues were not helpful at all. Puzzles didn’t function well.
Welcoming but clues were next to useless. Even when they were telling us what to do, it didn’t relate to how to make the puzzle work.

We completed this room with 2 people. It was a longer room with a 90 minute time limit and we did end up escaping but took a minute over the time limit. There were some really creative and tricky puzzles that were interesting/very smart (once we figured out how they worked). Some parts were a bit challenging or we weren’t sure what we were supposed to do next. A couple of the puzzles were a bit confusing as we weren’t sure if we were on the right track/there wasn’t an indication of whether we were getting close or not. As we were rushing to complete the puzzles we didn’t fully understand the narrative until after escaping but it was definitely a well thought out storyline with a lot of attention to detail.

A mission themed inside a ship With hi-tech puzzles, sounds and clips. Linear and story driven. Here's a summary I've given: Experiments done up in space That should advance the human race. But if something should go awry Just stay calm and you won't dye.

I did the room with just me and my partner. The time limit was 90 minutes. We enjoyed the room as it was quite interactive and high tech to simulate the feeling of being in a spaceship. There were no locks at all and they had some unique puzzles + some hands on moments. I feel like the build of one of the puzzles could have been a little more precise. But other than that we really enjoyed our experience.

Immersive and puzzles matched the theme pretty well (we never thought “why would I, an astronaut, think to look at [item]”.
