221B Baker St

Another great room by the team at Entombed. Great experience. Such a good way to do date night. This room was a challenge, but it was still really enjoyable, even if the first room really had us scratching our heads and begging for help. Sam and I really enjoy these rooms. Cannot wait for the future rooms.

A classic escape theme done very well, 221B Baker St was a lot of fun. With some quite tricky puzzles requiring our sharpest thinking and intellect as our first room of the morning this wasn’t exactly our strong suit. We hit our stride however and worked through many of the puzzles, hitting a couple of small snags but usually realising our stupidity quickly and working through. Probably the best flow of all the rooms we played, we always knew what we were meant to be working on whilst still having to pay close attention to what we had yet to use. The puzzles were mostly on theme with some super thematic ones nicely balancing out the more out of place ones. Certainly a room fit for a detective, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A wonderful, classic escape room and my personal favourite at Entombed. 221B Baker St definitely earns its 5/5 difficulty rating, with tricky puzzles, hidden props and strong reliance on lateral thinking, expect to get at least 40 minutes out of this one. One of the most impressive features was the set dressing, which incorporated a really clean design which was on theme, maintained well, and looked fantastic. Some very minor grievances with what the staff call “red herring puzzles” but nothing that sours the experience as a whole. A difficult yet rewarding room. Tracey our GM was enthusiastic and lovely!

In this room, there are a couple of puzzles in which it was not clear what is expected of players. Despite this, it is an enjoyable room. The game masters at this venue are friendly and enthusiastic.
