You have received a very unexpected letter from a law office, informing you of the recent demise of a certain miss Elke Drusselmeyer. You’ve never heard of her before, but it seems she was a very distant relative of yours and the great grand-daughter of the infamous Heinrich Drusselmeyer – one of Germany’s most prolific steampunk inventors. With no other living relatives, it seems you have inherited the Drusselmeyer’s fortune, along with a very mysterious list of instructions regarding the inventor’s hidden workshop. Curious about your inheritance, you decide to take a trip to Germany in pursuit of the hidden workshop. Covered in mystery, this place is rumored to enclose weird inventions, eccentric steam machines and what seems like an attempt to build a… time machine. But nothing and no one really prepared you for what your were about to find…

Our first steampunk room in the UK. A very cool theme with a surprising amount of German references. We managed to get through the game quite well and had a really good time. It’s not super innovative, but it’s very nicely designed and built with high quality.

Steampunk chronicles has a very polished appearance drawing inspiration from the steampunk world. The room is fully automated and contains a good variety of puzzles which relate to the story and theme. Due to the more narrow scope of the puzzles the game likey plays best with two or three

Very good room, no padlocks, cool tech, everything automated. The travel-through-time atmosphere is very well depicted, the steampunk universe as well. The props all look custom made, with a lot of attention to detail. A lot of work has been put into this room. Special shout-out to the the music, lights and some cool special effects. Loved it!

Absolutely loved it - I have high hopes for rooms with sci fi / history / gothic themes as they are all areas of interest to me and they were exceeded in Steampunk Chronicles. The decorum is superb, the mechanics are different to everything I have seen before, I really had the feeling of stepping into another time and age. Trying not to spoil it for others as there is a lot I would want to add here..spellbound doesn't come close. Fully recommend this room <3.
Very fun and the attention to details was top notch - it really was conductive to the story and not disjointed in any way.
I have seen things here I haven't seen anywhere else so I hope that answers this.

One of the best games played in Bucharest <3 It's literally magical, the atmosphere is incredible, puzzles flow logically and are integrated in the story to perfection. Two puzzles were absolutely unexpected and I've never seen anything like them before. Fantastic use of space. To the owners: please, please make a few more rooms soon!

Stepping into Steampunk Chronicles at Troll Escape Rooms felt like entering a beautifully crafted world of gears, cogs, and intricate machinery. The attention to detail was incredible, and the fully automated puzzles added a modern touch that kept us engaged throughout. Though the space itself wasn’t large, the immersion was top-notch, with every element thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience. The puzzles were creative, fun, and perfectly in tune with the theme, making for a highly enjoyable adventure. An absolute must-play—highly recommended!

Steampunk Chronicles is one of the best rooms in Bucharest. The set design is gorgeous, the puzzles are fun and unique and the game keeps you immersed from the first second to the last. It’s truly a game that should not be missed.
