This was a blast! Felt like you were in a horror movie. The actor didn't interact with us *too* much. There was a great scare at the beginning, but through most of the rest of the room, your mind fills in the gaps with the maginificent sound design and creepy ambiance. Puzzles were fun and innovative, much more mechanical over technological.
The emersion was pretty cool in needing to use tools embedded in the mine itself.
Felt like we were in a horror movie!
GM was lovely and made sure everyone was up to speed before entering the room.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Teamwork was big with this one. I loved how two people had to do something different at the same time in order to reveal what was next.
Plot was very memorable. You and your crew are trapped in a mine with a psycho pig man that lives inside of it! The room 'intro' was very, very fun - it gave great context to the room's story as a whole.
The puzzles *may* be on the easier side, but I'm rating them as medium due to the fact that players may be more on-edge due to the jump scares thrpwn in periodically. Anything feels harder when you're feeling on edge!
If you like horror movies, it gives you a vibe like you're in one!
If you scare easily, I wouldn't recommend this room.
Scary pig man named Rufus!
Physically active
Somewhat
You're moving around between sections as each space gets unlocked. You do need to backtrack throughout through a pitch-black maze/tunnel!
Accessibility
Could make accomodations for those with hearing impairments. Might be a bit harder for those with physical disabilities.
Parking lot is available.
