The room starts off with a whimsical shadow show which sets the tone for this mystical bazaar themed escape. Watch out for things popping out at you and dropping from the ceiling. Don’t drink the water - you’ve been warned. All your senses will be engaged from feeling for snakes to smelling the goods that are sold. Crawling will be involved so get down and dirty before the thieves return.

40 Thieves is an outstanding escape room—beautifully themed with immersive set design and a strong narrative thread that ties everything together from the moment you walk in. The puzzles are refreshingly tech-driven, steering away from the standard lock-and-key mechanics that many rooms rely on, and the high production value of the opening sequence sets the tone right away. It’s clear a lot of care and creativity went into crafting the experience. While the puzzles themselves aren’t particularly difficult, there are quite a few of them, and they’re engaging and thoughtfully integrated with the story. We completed the room with just two people, but I’d recommend a group of at least four, especially for less experienced players. Our game master, Kaci, was professional, friendly, and did a great job setting the scene and explaining the rules. Overall, I’d highly recommend 40 Thieves to both seasoned players and newcomers looking for a memorable, high-quality escape room experience.

There are multiple wow moments in the intro alone! From beginning to an epic finale, this non-linear marketplace room is filled to the brim with puzzles. Voices from the bazaar breathe life into the room. The room is all tech and no locks. I felt like a street rat in a fully realized world. The set is massive and gorgeously decorated. It’s quite overwhelming for a smaller group like our 2, but they offered extra time and ensured we finished. Thanks GMs! If it’s not clear from this glowing diamond of a rough, 40 Thieves is a must-play, perfect for any Arabian Niiiiiiiight!

Excellent game from top to bottom - the theme, the tech, the puzzles, the intro - all incredible! Non-linear and a great choice for anyone who likes immersive rooms with great tech and great puzzles - the game master was super helpful and kind as well

This room is so much fun! You are immediately transported to the scene they want to set. The interactive elements are very well done and engaging. Sam was the best GM, she was the 6th member of our team. Do not miss this experience

Yes, yes, yes! (This could have been my full review) Just go and play it as soon as you can, especially if you love rooms with a lot of puzzles. This was one of the rooms I was most looking forward to on our US trip, and it's always a bit scary to be hyped for something, as it's hard to meet those expectations. 40 Thieves met all my expectations, and so much more. This was my wives room #200, and we couldn't have been happier. From the completely fantastic opening, and throughout the whole game, this one just keeps on giving. This is a puzzle lovers dream come true, and there was a lot to do at all times. We had fantastic flow, and ended up escaping in 46 minutes without any hints. I love games that flow well, and here it was just perfect. I cannot find a single thing I didn't like about the room, and this will be in my favorites for a long time to come. 100% recommend that you travel to play this game.

This room is one of my top 5 rooms ever done. The puzzles were unique and there was a lot of things to do in the room which made it more fun. My team escaped with 5 seconds left which was fun!
