Lost Cabin

Room was rather simple with props that have seen it's age. Puzzles were mainly simplistic and low tech. Felt like a light GEN 1.5 room. Storyline could use improvement.

First part was pretty good second part was ehh

This room was a letdown. Many of the beginning puzzles made use of overly reused elements. Multiple times we would try a pretty obvious puzzle, have nothing happen, attempt to reset and in the middle of it without items being in place, have drawers/ cabinets open which seemed to indicate we were right and the puzzle was incredibly delayed or the GM had to manually progress us due to something not working when it should have. One puzzle stated 3 things needed to be activated simultaneously, these were on opposite sides of the room and the room minimum is two. We had to wait for the GM to activate the next step since this was literally impossible for us to do. Paint was worn out and chipped away which made one puzzle more difficult than it needed to be. And on one of the final puzzles, the clue symbols and the puzzle symbols did not match, so much so that one symbol was a complete guess. The dial that indicated where to line up the symbols was broken and falling of the board so lining things up took multiple attempts to position things properly.

This was the first escape room I had ever played back in 2017. It was a lot of fun and I remember it Kickstarting my love of escape rooms!

Not a bad room per se, but nothing special or interesting that I can remember, and the second part was disappointing and down right confusing to be honest.

Definitely a level of difficulty. Climate changing room was a new experience. Constantly kept me and my fellow teammates on our toes.

This was the first room I ever played! Don’t remember a whole lot except a cute nod to Stranger Things, and a good enough experience to get me hooked on escape rooms :)
