Gameplay

To be honest? AMAZING!!! I love how there was always something to do. Nothing too hard, very straightforward and a BUNCH of puzzle. If you like rooms with many puzzle and that makes sense you’ll love this!

Atmosphere

The set was what you’d expect of this escape room! Don’t expect one of those 100k budget escape rooms but you won’t be disappointed!

Customer service

The two owners were there and received us wonderfully! I gotta say through all the different locations and escape room I’ve done, they were definitely the best game master and human being we’ve encountered. Love them!

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

It’s definitely refreshing to see so many puzzle and different one!

Story

I mean you don’t really play this game for the story. Pretty short and sweet but the end was pretty good and makes you laugh a little concluding it in a good way!

Difficulty

Medium

Well balanced not that hard for us but new-ish people may struggle. We ended up asking a single hint trough out the game and one past the 60 minute timer to make sure we wouldn’t take more time for the other group.

With the two of us we were just fine we took an extra 5 minutes to escape. I guess the sweet spot would be 3

I would say 14+ but anyone could do it. To be honest if your child isn’t really mature enough consider an other game if you guys wanna have fun since it considered hard.

Was anything broken?

No

We were made aware of some tv’s not working that were supposed to give you hint. We choose to still do the game and found an other way around it to receive hints. The game was still wonderful and did not impact on any way the puzzle. That’s why I say No to this question.

You need a little bit of dexterity at the very least and crouch to grab something. Otherwise would be wheelchair accessible plenty of space.

This room exemplifies β€œstart with the theme first, and design puzzles out of what would naturally be in that type of space” which I always appreciate a location that has that philosophy. It keeps immersion up while still respecting you are in a puzzle room. Set was great and loved the non-linear aspects of it. Out of the 3 played today (coven, end of the world, Christmas) this was definitely the hardest, just out of sheer amount of puzzles. However everything was incredibly satisfying and felt rewarding as a solve as opposed to other β€œhard” rooms that feel like some puzzles are purposefully obtuse. Would recommend for a a group of 2-4 experienced players, but completely doable with 2.

This was a terrific game!! I reviewed Easy Bake Coven previously which I also really enjoyed however between the 2 I preferred this game as it is much more rich in puzzles and these game designers really do care about making good enigmas. The game has a great story and the build quality of the set is very good however I particular enjoy and recommend when a game designer sets out to balance good puzzles with a immersive experience so it is mostly and experience you move through or exclusively puzzle after puzzle. Well done !

Gameplay

Good game flow we were 2 players however there are parts that are less linear so can be enjoyed by more easily.

Wonderful welcoming GM couple who are also owners and designers.

Story

Not really a novel idea for an escape story but well integrated into the room design and the puzzles are perfectly appropriate. Literally built for the story

What a fun room! Friends and I both enthusiasts and newbies merged and together LOVED it, and the many different types of puzzles that kept us all on our toes. What a welcoming staff from the owner to the game masters, who truly love what they do and make sure they set you up for success! Highly recommend especially for fellow enthusiasts.

This was tough for two people. They did a great job with all of the tech inside. We tend to do better with 1st generation rooms we’ve noticed (maybe it’s because we are approaching 50…lol). They were kind enough to let us finish by adding 5 minutes more to our time. We needed a few hints as well. Glad we did it, but bring 4 people!

⚑️ Fallout vibes! My friend and I had so much fun in Honeymoon Suite that we decided to ditch our itinerary and keep the escape party going. Ended up being perfect back to back escape choices as they have fairly different themes and puzzles (my favourite was Honeymoon and his was this one, so there you go). The GM let us bypass a puzzle at the beginning that involves a bit of memorization and repetition which I appreciated. Lots of fun and love the little bits of humour Niagara Escapement slips into their rooms. Manifesting them expanding to a second location because I’d be keen to see what they could do with an even bigger space!

The second room we played today - this one was more high tech than the first (Honeymoon), and made for a great contrast if doing both rooms on the same visit. Lots of well thought-out puzzles and plenty of satisfying "aha" moments. The owners and room designers were perfect hosts. Make sure you allow time for their delicious coffee, baked treats & maybe even a board game or two!
