Retro Revenge

Completed this room with 4 people just under the time limit. We did the “hard” version which was very fun as it challenged us to think more. We chose not to have a live actor as we don’t usually go for horror rooms, but it was creepy/spooky without being terrifying. We enjoyed the puzzles a lot - there were some very unique ones and many references to horror movies, so would be particularly fun for horror fans. We got stuck at the very beginning but once we got into the flow of things the pace picked up a bit and the puzzles felt pretty intuitive. Overall an enjoyable experience, would recommend, especially to horror lovers.

We liked having the option of doing this room in hard mode, which allowed us to use our intuition more than relying on too much clue guidance. As someone who is normally not a fan of spooky rooms I really enjoyed retro revenge. I loved all the references within the decor as well as the different games incorporated into puzzles. There was also a lot of creativity and novelty in the design of the puzzles, utilising some very simple things to create a unique experience that followed the theme. We also enjoyed how much there was to do making it feel like we got good value for money by challenging us to almost use the full hourm

We had alive actor that freaked us out and slowed us down but the room was awesome and the puzzles were difficult but not impossible. Highly recommend!!!

We adored this room! Loved the creepy vibe and all the pop culture references and retro aesthetics that made clever use of the authentic old-school props. Great variety of puzzles too, ranging from traditional padlocks to mechanical, from low-tech to hi-tech. We opted for the "mild" version of the scary live actor but it still got us a couple of times! So much fun and a cool ending to boot — choose wisely!

It was an incredible and fun mash of different board games and movies, with carefully crafted puzzles and props that made it amazing.

Incredibly immersive with a good level of horror! Tricky but fun puzzles!

Spooky without being terrifying, which I appreciate in an escape room! An immersive experience with very clever mechanical puzzles, loved it!

The retro theme was so cool we loved it brought me back to my childhood with amazing props and puzzles thoroughly enjoyed this room , perfect for young and old ☺️💕

Retro Revenge is a love letter to many popular games and horror properties with great execution of theme and cool props. There were some great little theatrical moments that make it stand out.
