You are standing in the empty lobby of Blackwood Manor, a grand old hotel in the idyllic town of Lake Placid, Upstate New York. A fierce storm is raging outside. Ten years ago, the former owners Laura and Edmund Blackwood disappeared without a trace. Visitors to this town have been mysteriously vanishing ever since, especially during the Harvest Moon each Fall. Some believe the manor is haunted, others say that strange rituals are held there every full moon. As the police are doing nothing, your team of investigative journalists are determined to finally uncover the truth behind the disappearances and what dark secrets the manor holds. But what you encounter at Blackwood Manor is far worse than you could ever have imaginedβ¦

The room was big with clues that made sense. A linear experience with good sound design and atmosphere. Variety here is best part as difficulty, lighting levels and GM intervention could be varied to your preference and need.
Very smooth with distinct order. The story had its twists and the puzzles didn't overlap making it easier to determine which key/item was for what puzzle
Beautifully designed and well put together. Unfortunately some over enthusiasm from previous guests meant some aesthetic pieces were damaged and torn
Absolutely lovely the manager was fun and enthusiastic, able to answer any questions and had a good sense of humour.
Easy access from public transport

Blackwood Manor is a great traditional room with a lovely old school feel and fun puzzles. The spooky vibes and set pieces are great. I like that there's options for playstyles and vibes.

Hands down favourite escape room to date. Amazing story line, and the puzzles and room were so well done!
The staff were amazing and made the experience 10/10!

The eerie and spooky atmosphere of this room created a fun and immersive experience. The puzzles were logical and well designed to suit the theme of the room. Whilst there was a lot to do, it was not overwhelming and it all made sense up to the satisfying conclusion.

We absolutely loved this room. The quality of the set and props was top-notch and movie-esque. The idea of using torches in the darkness really added to the atmosphere, and the puzzles were interesting and fun. The story was also quite good. We opted out of the live actor but it was still a spooky experience. One of the best escape rooms we've been to so far.

Good room overall but soundproofing is bad. Could hear other GMs talking to players in another room and staffs chatters.

Enjoyed the escape room- nothing extravagant but I always love the atmosphere in Eclipse.

Pretty standard murder mystery/ demonic theme. Nothing that can be done very different
One of our other players found some great world building clues lying around
Easy
Not a very difficult room just need to focus on specific instructions
Mechanical
There are a lot of sensors but not much else

In my opinion we had a little too many people in the escape room. I think if you have an experienced team- 3 people would be a better experience.
Not scary
Not nearly as bad as other rooms Iβve done before

Cannot have a wheelchair- people who are hearing impaired may also struggle with certain puzzles unless they have people to assist them who do not struggle with hearing.
