This was a creative room that made nice use of a relatively small space, and each and every puzzle was very enjoyable. We played as a team of two and got out in only 37 minutes because I solved a puzzle before I was "supposed" to be able to, which I take to mean that the design of the room could be improved. The GM was kind enough to let us go back and solve the skipped puzzles since we had so much time left, but it only took us three minutes to solve those puzzles as well. Additionally, there were a couple of moments in the room where the tech didn't work as well as it was supposed to, which wasn't too frustrating but it could use some polishing. Theme-wise, I don't think the paranormal aspect of the theme shines through, but the Edgar Allen Poe aspect of the theme certainly does, and is much stronger than another Poe-themed room I did in January. Overall, it was an enjoyable room and we would definitely do another room at this location.
GM was very kind and respectful of our request surrounding hints! The staff were also very kind to hold my water bottle for me when I realized I left it in the room and wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next day.
Accessibility
Some puzzles may be challenging to folks with dyslexia, one puzzle requires hearing, another requires the ability to differentiate colors, and some require the ability to crouch and/or crawl
The location doesn't have dedicated parking, but there are lots of public parking lots around the area. We went on a Sunday which meant it cost only 45 cents to park for 2hrs.
