Zombie Lab

This was a fun escape room. The live actor definitely added a bit of thrill. I enjoyed the puzzles and the whole room was fairly linear and straight forward. We escaped with about 25 minutes to spare, so it was a bit simple for a team of 8.

We bought the experience with the live actor and used a promo code. But when we got there, we were told the live actor was not included on weekends unless we pay an additional $10 per person ($100 total). The actor was only present for ~5 min total, with one task. Not worth the $100 extra dollars. Overall, puzzles were medium difficulty, but one in particular was hard only because of the lighting in the room and the shading used. Contrast was not optimal here. Game masters interrupted the game to tell us our time and they were a bit snappy when we asked questions at the end. 4/10 would recommend.

We played this room with an experience group of players and escaped in about 27 mins which was a record. Puzzles were fairly simple and we did not have a live actor. I probably would not recommend it his room without a live actor. However, if you use the Groupon, there is no live actor. There’s a trade off for the price.

I don’t like that the people coming in to the room to tell you the time, knock the door or anything. It takes you out of the mood. Puzzles are very elementary level. It’s good for the promo days of 15$

We disliked this room because of broken locks and because of the hint system. The game master barges in and asks what do we need and then gives a cryptic hint. It pulls you out of the immersion. Not to mention, the zombie told us to go back inside another room while he left. It was awkward.

Save your money and escape this place. Only redeeming factor was the comic book area

The room was simple and a beginner room. It was when most of the group was just new and just wanted to see how a horror escape room was. Finished it pretty quickly and it was scary for sure but is not as scary as their other horror rooms. This one was basic and felt they made it easier than it should be just because its a beginner room. Rooms were lightly detailed and the mood was set okay.
