Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our game in Steampunk Train, and I wouldn’t recommend playing it. Play the Horror Circus at this location instead! 
The Game Masters are very friendly, and we were treated great =) 
However, the game itself needs some TLC, as most of the props and scenery show their age. The set was ok, unfortunately it feels more like square rooms than actual train waggons. We liked the idea of a steampunk train, but to be honest the game doesn’t have much to do with steampunk except for all the gears on the walls. Otherwise it’s a very classic Western setting, where robbers want to steal the gold on the train and have planned for the train to derail in 60 min. Unfortunately this doesn’t carry over to the game itself, no real sense of urgency is created. 
The puzzles were also just okay, as they are quite time consuming, and not in a fun way. There’s some riddles in the game that you’d find in a „Logicals“ magazine and some time consuming physical puzzles that you need to assemble, which can really only be done by one person at a time. So even with just two players, one of us was often just waiting without really being able to help. 
I think give this game a try if you want to have a challenge to get out in time as it’s their hardest game, but don’t expect anything too exciting theming or puzzle wise. And don’t take too many people!
