The Sanctuary

Our team name lends to our playstyle more often then not, The Overthinkers, and man does it show in this room. So many puzzles we stared at for what felt like minutes being like........no..............there has to be something else. This was a room that was beautiful in its simplicity and really "wanted you to do exactly what you expected." We experienced some *extremely* bad clue giving during our visit to the room, but overall I would have recommended this one to anyone while it was still open.

The staff told us The Sanctuary is retiring soon so we gave it a try just after their Enigma room. Brett was our fantastic GM on this one. It’s an older room I think, but it really doesn’t show any signs of wear. If you can play this before it retires, you should!

Fun room. Puzzles were challenging and we spent too much time trying to figure out things we weren’t really ready for and a little time wasted on things we had correct but weren’t quite working but worked after a few tries. Did this at the end of an escape room marathon so some issues may have been our fatigue!

We enjoyed this room. There was one frustrating element that we had not encountered in any other rooms we have done before. Otherwise, great room that made you think! Puzzles were brilliantly intertwined. It’s a nice touch that they give you photos to keep at the end!

Wow - what a great room with so many unique ideas and a couple of awesome bits of technology we had never seen before. Cool story too!
