Last Stop Motel

Last Stop Hotel: Paranormal activity in a haunted hotel room. What else do we have to say? We had to solve the mystery and get out! Pros: The set was a basic, single room set-up which in some ways made for faster game play. The puzzles flowed quite logically and were relatively simple single step puzzles. The puzzles were not aligned to the theme or storyline. We flowed through the game quite rapidly coming within seconds of breaking the record. While this always makes us feel especially accomplished, we felt that the room could be slightly improved to add additional challenge for more experienced players. The game masters were very kind and fun with infectious enthusiasm that helped us feel amazing at the end of our game. Cons: The set design and storyline bored us. Aligning the puzzles to the theme or scaling the puzzles a bit more could help improve the quality of the game play. We definitely recommend this particular game for escape room beginners due to its simplicity of design and smooth game flow. Experienced players may wish to play a more challenging game. Perhaps the other games at Escape the House would provide more of a challenge.

Shocked!!! We finished this room in 11mins and 20 sec...out of 45mins!!! **Best record June** (so far) I cannot determine if this is a good thing or a bad thing...not releasing any spoilers here...

Really not worth the time/money if you’ve done any other escape rooms before. The puzzles are incredibly straightforward and not enough of them to even fill 30 minutes let alone 45. The entire location feels like it needs to revamp a lot of their aging props in their older rooms (like turbulence). While those other rooms are a bit saved with having some interesting puzzles, this one all around was disappointing.

Very simple room. We were a group of 2 and we managed to escape with 10 mins to spare -- and this was a 45min room. Very basic level. We even skipped a puzzle even though the room was supposed to have the puzzles interconnect. Still okay room if it is your first escape.

Fun and simple

Very small and overall uninteresting room. The other rooms at Escape the House are much better than this one! The staff is also very nice!

Nothing inherently bad about this room. It’s just really really basic.

Super basic looking room. 2 newbies couldn’t complete in 45 min.
