Smoke & Mirrors: Houdini's Final Escape

The room was so much fun! Perfect amount of challenges and puzzles. Roxie was so much fun! She was funny and welcoming and she played the best music! We will be back!

Such a fun room! Lots of different puzzles of different types. The theme was carried out through the whole room and was really well done. We did Bubbas room first, but got out pretty quickly so decided to do another. This one was MUCH more difficult. We only had two people, and escaped, but it would have been easier with 3 or 4. I wouldn’t suggest this one as your very first room, but definitely great for those who love escape rooms or have done one before! Roxie was our GM and again- she’s fabulous! I really like what they do for the “set up” and story at the beginning - adds a little twist and fun part to the experience.

A very fun magic room! Some cool puzzles I hadn’t seen before. Puzzles were fairly intuitive, was confused at some point but mainly needed confirmation we were doing the right thing. it was a good challenge and lots of fun! Luna was amazing!

Really fun game! It kept us busy all the time and super entertaining!

This room has many hidden surprises, not necessarily surprises as in puzzles… This room will make you second-guess yourself in many different ways. My suggestion is don’t overthink it. Really well thought out room and backstory.

Pretty cool game! Effects were pretty cool and triggered promptly, only 1 hiccup during the game that is totally understandable from a technical standpoint Game master Chris was great and prompt with hints (although we didn’t have to ask sudden flex) But cool game that really flowed well :) the puzzles were nice and considerate and fun to solve so it was a really enjoyable well rounded experience

This game is VERY linear. We had 4 people and had times where 2 of us were just waiting around. Very mechanical. Lots of puzzles in the first room which can get confusing at times which ones are done and not. Lots of red herrings. This room is dated and it shows. Nothing special about it and left feeling not very satisfied. The staff is very nice though

This is a decent room which has some fun puzzles. It is mostly mechanical locks but there are some nice “supernatural” effects as well. The degree of difficulty is low even when playing on “expert mode” so I wouldn’t even want to know how easy it is on “normal mode.” The finale moment is satisfying. I can’t really recommend the room as being worth going out of your way to play, but I don’t regret playing it. Note: I am not sure who did what first, but we played a Houdini room in Albuquerque that had several of the same puzzles as this room. However, the details are different in various ways, so we didn’t feel completely spoiled, and there were elements of each room that were not present in the other. Still, it’s always a bit of a bummer when that happens.
