The Shed

The Shed was a lot of fun! This was a newer room at Mastermind and it felt like it was in really good shape with everything working well. One of the Shed’s rooms felt like you were actually outside and the temperature changed, which was different/cool. Good game for beginners as it was a pretty straightforward game, but will be fun for everyone.

It’s was okay. It was pretty easy and it was pitched as “extremely difficult” It was by far the fastest i’ve ever done a room but it was a fun experience with good jump scares.

Game was ok, would not recommend. Room didn't feel thought out very well, and it felt very unorganized. Things opened by themselves, keys worked when they didn't need to, and the commentator basically walked us through half the game because things weren't working. Was very sloppy, but it has a lot of potential to be a good room.

I absolutely LOVED this escape room - There was always something to accomplish and we never felt stuck. The puzzles were well thought out and made sense with their theming, it's clear that attention to detail is valued at Mastermind Escape Games. I highly recommend this room, it offers a strong challenge and has strong immersion.

The Shed gives a constant sense of unnerving anxiety. I haven’t done many scary escape rooms yet, but this was one of the first where I really did just want to escape and get out of here! It’s one of those rooms where I almost didn’t want to search and tinker around like I usually do because I was too terrified that something was going to jump out. It’s to the point where any little sound or banging threw me off and causes me to scream at the top of my lungs! The puzzles themselves were okay, though on the hard side. We really got caught up on one color puzzle because it was too dark and hard to see one of the clues, so we were upset about that… However, the room itself was good and more immersive than the other rooms Mastermind has to offer. Probably “the one” to try here if any!

This is a spoil free review. High anxiety, clock is not in your mind because you’re trying to escape for your own call and safety. Truly a memorable and challenging room. Less so because of the tasks, more so because of the heightened anxiety of the process.

I was terrified the entire time but it was awesome. I don’t think there were any puzzle mechanics that were completely unique or innovative but it was still a great experience and the facility will now show you some clips from your game and that was fun and hilarious.

This was my second escape room there, we didn’t escape but we had a great time! Our host Corbin was amazing and he made the experience even better! The other time I went they were super nice too. Overall the experience was very good!

The room seemed to be more luck based compared to some of their other rooms. The person who ran the room seemed to not really care about game play, might have been new to the team. Not super upsetting but definitely could have had someone else with them. I will continue to play new games when they appear. Overall fun room just be mindful of what can be moved and what can’t … even things in plain sight.

Very solid experience, with better immersion than other mastermind rooms. Decent puzzles and a good set make for a fun experience.
