46 escape rooms
The zombies are coming, and luckily, you have survived. Now you just need a place to set up camp and hide from the zombies… and what better place than an abandoned prison? But unfortunately, it quickly becomes clear that you’re not alone, and now you have to escape before the zombies arrive. Adding zombies is definitely a recipe for an entertaining escape room. Unfortunately, the zombie dolls don’t do much to enhance the atmosphere. The soundtrack is mostly fitting, with zombie groans and other eerie sounds, but a bit of heavy rock snuck onto the playlist, which didn’t quite fit. Even the prison itself was impressively built, and the first room you enter is the control room, from which the search for a way out begins—naturally including a cell block. We unfortunately overlooked many of the items needed to solve the puzzles, so it wasn’t an ideal room for us. According to the gamemaster, it’s on the difficult side, and we have to agree. They rate it at 75% difficulty on their website, so maybe we just had a rough start to the day. The room is 100% linear and doesn’t leave much room for excitement, so our recommendation is 2–3 players, as more than that quickly leads to stepping on each other’s toes.
