Die Wunderlampe [The Magic Lamp]

So far you've only heard of the wealthy Sultan Harun-Ar-Rashid, but now you want to see the city's wealth for yourself. But you, a gang of thieves and crooks, don't just want to look. With so much wealth and ostentation, one or the other missing gold bar or diamond is hardly noticeable. Passing fallow fields and dry steppes, you make your way towards the city center. Even from afar you can see the Sultan's magnificent palace, whose gleaming walls look as if they were wrought of gold in the glow of the rising sun. Arriving in the city, however, there is not much to see of Agrabah's alleged wealth. Beggars on the street, sick-looking children romp around in a lonely playground and the cracked mud huts of the citizens do not exactly invite you to linger. You talk to the locals, but nobody can explain the Sultan's incredible wealth. In a side street you will meet a beggar who may be able to get you into the palace. You don't have much time left to rummage through his belongings and unravel the mystery of Harun-ar-Rashid's wealth.
