The notorious serial killer “One Eyed Jack” is terrorizing your town. Despite the warnings to stay indoors you decided to go out with your friends for a night on the town. The last thing you remember is taking a sip from your drink. You awake groggy and confused, locked in a crude jail cell. You need to act quickly and find a way out before he returns.

We picked this room as it was highly rated on Morty & we were looking for something last minute. This was a solid experience on a common theme (escape the serial killer's lair), but there were still some standout parts and we had a great time. The game flowed really well. The puzzles were all intuitive. Almost all the puzzle types, we had seen before, but this still wasn't a cake walk. The set design worked. Some companies will take the easy way out with a bare-bones approach for a serial killer basement, but this game offered more than that, especially when you make it out of the first area. It feels a little weird to recommend doing a classic "escape the serial killer's basement" because you are in Vegas & there are certainly a ton of escape rooms, many with much more interesting themes. That said, the execution was well done and you are not going to come out of this game disappointed.

The unique storyline is a standout here - going well beyond your average “serial killer” game, with additional story details you discover while solving puzzles that make sense in the creepy environment around you. The puzzles were on the easier side for us, but still enjoyable to play. Great staff, as always, from a Trapped! location.
Puzzles were on the easier side, but still enjoyable to solve. A couple of puzzles had an extra layer to them, and figuring out that second step was fun. Most of the puzzles fit the story and theme, too.
A lot of effort was put into the sound design, sound effects, and hint system. Lighting was used intentionally to lead you in certain directions. Enjoyed the environment of the first half of the game, but the second half felt like it could have used a little more decor.
Interacted with three staff members who were all nice and helpful - they also took the time to recommend future games they thought we might like.

The game had a very memorable, detailed, unique, and well thought out storyline. They went above and beyond your average “serial killer” theme. We got a good backstory before going into the game, and we were surprised to learn even more about the story and characters as the game unfolded.
Easy
Take your time and enjoy the game - no need to rush through.
High tech
Puzzles were an even mix of tech and mechanical. The tech really shines in the lighting and sound, outside of the puzzles themselves.
3
There won’t be a lot to do with a larger group. 2 - 4 experienced players recommended.
Spooky
No jump scares during your game. Creepy environment and the occasional minimally startling sound effect.

Adult themes and props you’d find in a slasher movie.
Yes
One tech prop died while in use, but someone came in and quickly fixed the problem.
Yes
I did say no scares *during* your game, right?
Somewhat
Very brief crawling required for at least one team member, but not necessary for all players.
Unless I’m forgetting a puzzle, I believe the room is 100% color-blind friendly. Hearing required for hints.

This was a great room with a few unique puzzles that I hadn’t seen before. Know that it is a bit of a creepy theme, so if you don’t enjoy sudden loud noises or a horror story, then steer clear of this room. That’s never my favorite genre of escape room, but I still enjoyed the puzzles in spite of it. I would give this a ❤️ if there were more puzzles to fill out our time, however, the two of us escaped with 26 minutes left (almost half our time we paid for!) and we were certainly not rushing as fast as we could. For that reason it is just a 👍🏼 for me.

We got out of this room far too quickly with just two people, so I definitely wouldn’t bring more.

Just a little scary.

I’d only bring a kid to this room if they are the type who loves horror movies.

One crawling spot, but I think that could be avoided if you tell them you can’t do it. Only one person has to as well.
I’d say it can be made to be fully accessible if you let them know you can’t crawl.

This was a really fun room! The puzzles were creative, familiar to enthusiasts, and made sense. I loved knowing what puzzles to focus on next from the spotlights. The set design was amazing. Even though you could barely see the warehouse ceiling, it wasn’t enough to pull you out of the setting. This is a perfect room for anyone who wants to try a spooky room for the first time!
Linear. Immersiveness. The use of spotlights to keep the flow
Cool set design. But you do see the warehouse ceiling in the first room

This was a really fun room. I wish I had the chance to do the Halloween version. There was a hint of what it may have been like in the opening moments of the game. It was theatrical and spooky as hell. I wish there had been a bit more of the scare factor involved in the room. This did not in any way take away from the fun. The puzzles were great and really had us jumping. There were puzzles I thought I had seen before but I was surprised but the clever twists that were added. I also loved the physical puzzles that were in the room. It was the perfect little addition that made the experience that much more special. I hope I have the chance to come back and do the other rooms.

Fine but nothing mind-blowing. Minor spookiness at start only. Classic serial killer theme. Unfortunately, this room is too easy for enthusiasts, so don’t go with more than 2. We were a group of 4 (2 experienced and 2 intermediate), and we got out with 27 mins to spare. We wanted more puzzles to solve and fewer tasks that just took up time.
“Lighting choices and small details in the environment made for a compelling spooky atmosphere.“
“It puts you into a real-life immersive setting which is why most of us play escape rooms. “
