Mystical Creatures [prev: Mystical Critters]

This room felt a lot more confusing than the others we’ve done here- though this might just be me?! Some of the puzzles themselves are really fun & different, though I had a lot of confusion about what we needed to do next, or what we’d just achieved when we solved something- which took the edge off this room for me. Not a bad room, but I didn’t think it was as good as some of their others & my brain clearly just doesn’t seem to work in the same way as the designer of this room. 🤯 I did however really like the player portal, which gives you access to not only to your photos, but also to stats about your game play!

Good room, part two of two, I much preferred this room to part one due to its wider range of satisfying puzzles

Played as a team of 2. Another great room from Break escape. This is the second part of 2 part room. We played the first part when it first opened about a year ago (second room wasn’t open then) and have only just made it back. It was worth the wait. Great setting and props which is expected from Break escape. Nice mix of Non-linear and linear (concentrate on one critter at a time). The experience made better by our GM Tim. Very welcoming and remembered us from our other visits. Defo recommend doing this room.

We’ve played both parts of this, and they’re great fun. Sets look great and puzzles flow nicely. Our favourite games at this location

Part II of the academy of spells. A mix of linear and non-linear puzzles worked well for us. A bit more thinking required than part I. Worked ok as a four. Would be doable by two.
