Archibald Tucker was one of the greatest explorers of the 1930s. His tales of adventure were known the world over and his prized journal documented every adventure. While exploring an abandoned temple in The Lost City, he uncovered a treasure so rare, no man alive had seen it! A sudden gust of wind slams the temple door shut - sealing Tucker and his journal inside! Both were never seen again. Your team of treasure hunters decide it’s time to finish Tucker’s quest. Armed with the latest technology, your research points you to the exact whereabouts of the lost journal which holds the secrets to finding the treasure. In your backpacks, you’ve brought all the materials essential for your adventure! You approach the temple confidently, but once inside angered spirits awaken and deem you unworthy of the riches held within. As a test, they grant you 60 minutes to prove your worth. You must work logically, interact with everything you find and solve puzzles to uncover the treasure! If you fail, the door will be sealed once more and you will surely perish! Can you locate the journal, find the treasure and escape the temple before it’s too late? Time is of the essence!

This room was fun with interesting theming. Most puzzles came together well. Our game master was super responsive.

We made it out of here with tons of time left on the clock and a party of 2! Easy/ medium difficulty. We enjoyed this game a lot!

Puzzle Quality: 12/20 Looks/Theme: 11/20 GameMaster Rating: 8/10 Operation Fluidity: 5/5 Combined Rating: 36/50 Overall Difficulty: 4/10 Quick Notes: - Multiple rooms, very small in size. - One of the puzzles was a little unintuitive. CATEGORIES EXPLAINED IN MORE DETAIL BELOW: Puzzle Quality - How intuitive, logical, and unique the puzzles were. How well do the puzzles fit the theme? Looks/Theme - How much effort, time, and money went into making an immersive and unique atmosphere. GameMaster Rating - How attentive and helpful was the game master? Were the hints given in a timely manner and were they quality hints that helped but did not give you the solution too directly? Operation Fluidity - Was the game reset properly? Was it clean inside the room? Were the code entry and solution methods working properly as intended? Overall Difficulty - This is fairly subjective but is mostly correlated to how many total puzzles and how time consuming they each are compared against the 60 minute time limit that almost all rooms have. Combined Rating - Simply a total tally out of 50 of the four main categories. (Puzzle Quality and Looks/Theme are weighted a little more because they are the most important parts of having a good experience). The higher the number, the better the room! Just remember that a 5/10 or 7.5/15 or a 25/50 combined rating is an AVERAGE rating (for some reason in most people’s heads, a 5/10 is a below average or bad rating). So if a room has a combined rating of above 25, then it is a quality room and a good experience that I would recommend! It has to be a really well done room to score above a 35.

A decent room. Almost seemed too easy at times but then not so obvious at others. We escaped with a good bit of time. Atmosphere was nice.

Was a fun well themed room. Is in the easier side of games here in Orlando but the puzzles were fun with some technical features. Also if you escape you get a free wristband!

A pretty basic and boring room. Minimal theming, irritating puzzles requiring translation of an inordinate number of symbols. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was so excited for this room theme and it was such a let down. It’s so sad when a company things that stapling some plastic vines and grass on the walls and ceiling equal a lost temple/jungle theme. The play was pretty dull too. My least favorite room at Escapology for sure.

There just wasn’t a lot going on with it. The room was basic, not too difficult to figure out the puzzles except one that made no sense…it was a big stretch to turn it into a puzzle and the solution. Some of the props and such were not the typical level of Escapology quality. It was just ok…start with Scooby Doo or for something spooky do Seven Deadly Sins. This was nothing to rush over and do. Escape Effect right down the street has some incredible rooms that are WAY more worth it in comparison
There wasn’t anything special and everything was simple except one puzzle that made no sense
Even comparing it to other Escapology rooms, this one was weak tbh

Short lived game at their venue, but it was my favorite. Very well themed, unique puzzles that added to the story, and very challenging.
