Light on the decor but a bit higher on the scare factor. A rough set feels real, and the use of doors to encourage group flow is appreciated. A fun set with good sense of progression and confusion on where you’ve gone before.

"Der Poltergeist" at The Code Agency in Düsseldorf is an extremely entertaining and immersive escape room that is truly terrifying. Inspired by the rooms from The Chamber in Prague, this version is slightly toned down but still fantastic. The atmosphere is incredibly creepy and filled with moments that will keep you on edge. The room features elements that I've never seen before, including some that cause real disorientation. It's genuinely scary and very well done overall, making it a top recommendation for horror fans. While the room isn't overly intense due to limited actor interactions, it still manages to be very nerve-wracking and intriguing. The set design is top-notch, with a perfect blend of light and sound effects that enhance the immersion. The storyline, while not always easy to follow due to the high fear factor, has a coherent thread and a dramatic finale that ties everything together well. The puzzles are more intuitive and fit well within the context of the creepy clinic setting, although they are not the main focus—it's really the immersive experience and the scares that stand out. In summary, "Der Poltergeist" offers a thrilling and highly entertaining experience. It's definitely recommended for anyone who loves horror games and enjoys a good scare, making it one of the best rooms I've played

Kann man nur empfehlen

Good room, but a bit disapointing with 6 players. Not all players did experience the whole atmosphere. I recommend to play with 3 or 4 players. We were very fast, too.

It’s my absolute favorite horror game.The Actor and the game master did a perfect job.The atmosphere was so frightening and the acting and the puzzles were perfect.

Today the five of us played Poltergeist. Three of us (including me) were super excited beforehand. Then the time came. Our game director Antonia gave us a very friendly welcome and introduced us to the story in a great way. Then it started and we were right in the middle of it. The effects, the space... It all fits together perfectly. A big compliment also goes to Rebecca! That was great! Hats off! Pure adrenaline... And not for the faint of heart. Definitely not. I can wholeheartedly recommend Poltergeist.
