It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, at least that’s what the leader of Clearview Community’s Neighborhood Watch reassures their residents! With an invitation to the Watch leader’s home with promises of fun and games, it’s the perfect setting to keep young minds distracted as parents spend the night out searching for a missing neighborhood kid. Is this just another child running away from home or could it be the latest in the case of the Clearview Catcher?

Truly an incredible escape room experience. Live actor was so great and really brought the whole room together. Not for the faint of heart.

This was very well done; one of my favorite rooms to date. Michael was our "friend" and he was AMAZING. The creep factor was high and the layout of the rooms was really fun! The clues were very clever, but do note almost all the locks are combos, but even if you hate that I would NOT let that deter you! Yes, It is low tech, but the whole experience was incredibly fun. The way they did the game guide was super inventive and made it fun to not just have a disembodied employee voice assisting you if you get stuck. HIGHLY recommend!!
The clues were fun and imaginative.
Spectacular. Great attention to detail and our actor Michael was superb!
wonderful!

SO WELL DONE!!
Hard
Some of the clues you REALLY have to pay attention; we definitely got tripped on a couple.
Mechanical
Most locks were combos with maybe a key or two. Not high tech at all, but the atmosphere, story, actor and clues made this fabulously fun!

We played with 4; I believe the clues are sequential, so you could do 2, but it was nice to have a multiple people looking at various things to get it all figured out.
Spooky
Not necessarily scary but DEFINITELY creepy thanks to our fabulous actor!

Considering it involves the kidnapping of children, might not be good for young kids...

This was definitely one of the more memorable games we have done. The puzzles and clues themselves were fairly basic, but they were perfectly tied into the plot and an environment to make them engaging. The fact that there was a live actor made us a little nervous, but the game truly wouldn’t be the same without them. Michael was an amazing GM/Actor as he was when we did Bros For Life! Highly recommend for fans of a “thriller” genre of room.
Staff was amazing! Second time here with Michael as our GM and he was amazing both times.

This is where this room really shines. The plot is so well integrated into the room and makes you feel like a character in the story.
Medium
This was rated a 9/10 difficulty room according to Escape Ventures but we didn’t feel the puzzles were all too challenging. Needed a hint at one point, but then was obvious once the hint was given (as it always is).

3-4 is the perfect amount. Any more and you might feel too cramped. 2 is probably doable but would make it much more challenging.
Spooky
I would call it more suspenseful than scary. We were warned there may be jump scares so were on edge the whole time which added to the thrill, but looking back at it, there is really only one small part that may be considered “scary”. The rest of the room just kept you constantly in an uneasy state.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood… This room was absolutely phenomenal. It’s an experience like no other, thanks to our amazing live actor Kamila and her astounding ability to step into a role with so many layers. You’re on Morty reading reviews, so you probably know this room is indeed scary. We’re scaredy cats, and we asked to have a less scary experience without completely removing the horror. Kamila was most excellent in not only honoring that request, but still managing to scare us in ways that still made us feel composed and able to face our fears and solve the very clever thematic puzzles. There was even an element of improv that she provided when one of our locks completely broke, and I applaud her on her quick thinking and performance. Bravo! Won’t you be… her neighbor…?

A lock didn’t work at all with the right code. Our live actor came in as the helper character as a last second improv session and did an amazing job staying in character. She broke the lock manually and helped us figure out what we had to do. She stopped the time as well

What a great room and the GM Felix made it super fun!! We enjoyed the flow and story. Some clever puzzles.

80's theme was on point. The live actor that would come in and out of the room is what really sells this experience very well. Loved the throw back on the 80's and the creepy allure of mystery. It is as scary as your live actor will make of it. Our actor was on point, sadly that was her last day working at that store. But overall great Escape company!
puzzles were rather on the simpler side, the atmosphere is what sold it for us.
as immersive as being at home in the 80s

Rating: 4.5/5 - Thrilling and engaging actor interaction, but less impressive set and puzzles Pros: ➕The interaction with the actor is what makes this room so good, they did a fantastic job playing multiple roles. Without the actor, the room would feel a lot more average. ➕Creative and fun hint system ➕Thrilling narrative and role playing ➕Scare level is adjustable, we played it toned down since my partner doesn't like to be scared, but the GM was able to target me (as requested) for a couple of jump scares. ➕Set and props looked appropriate to the theme with multiple areas to explore ➕Childhood nostalgia Minor things that could've been better: ➖Set was nicely done but was a bit plain compared to TEV's other themes ➖Many puzzles were uninteresting and forgettable. Overall I'm not a fan of TEV's puzzle design since they are too reliant on counting things, putting items in order, and figuring out letters/numbers/patterns. It gets a bit repetitive and feels like it's from and older era of escape rooms despite these being recent rooms. ➖Not enough tech or physical puzzles, it's too heavily padlock/key based for my tastes We played as a team of two and did just fine, ideal is 2-4 since there are some tighter spaces. It's a thrilling game with some darker themes, it's on the scarier side but it's not gory. My ranking of TEV rooms starting with my favorite: 1. Phantom Files: The Investigation of Lockturne Manor 2. Click 'N Glitch Arcade Palace 3. Nightfall: Creature at Camp Deadwood 4. Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown 5. Neighborhood Watcher
