Pretty fun puzzles, which could mostly be done in parallel for two groups. A couple puzzle types that I don't generally enjoy (memory recall, searching for physical items, lights out), but also a few types of puzzles I haven't seen done before.

Dragon Alley is my favorite game in Reno. Solid set, design and puzzles. Great sound effects, lighting and feedback. The staff here go above and beyond, highly recommend both games at Keystone!!

Great game with a lot of heart and some really silly GMs whose fun is contagious. So close to a "Love" from me - but there were a few of my least favorite puzzles included so this is just a personal thing (a "Simon Says" color memorization puzzle, a "Lights Out"/"Grid Toggle" puzzle and ... a tangram, ugh). If it weren't for these this would be a brilliant room - it's packed with lots of puzzles, great decor, a lot of humor and a few really fun surprises. The plotline was a bit convoluted and a few puzzles left me thinking "why are we doing this in this environment?" Also: "Poor Jim!" (If you know you know ;) ) Such a shame I couldn't find anyone else to play their other room! This place is on my radar now - I suggest you put it on yours.

Story

Not great. Could be tweaked to improve it without much trouble.

I played with a non-native English speaker who hadn't played a game before and we were close on time. There was a bit of reading but not much, and we still got through (with some clues) without about 5 minutes to spare. This is a good beginner room if they go with someone else and if that person takes the lead.

A few locks but mostly tech.

There's a little bit of a cult element at the very end and a spooky part of the room, but a kid should be OK and able to avoid those elements.

Minor crawling and ducking. One person needs to do something apart from the others.

Accessibility

Color blindness would be tough here, as several puzzles require a keen eye for colors; however, those puzzles could be lead by others or skipped with help from the GM.

Super solid escape room. Fun puzzles, ideal for two people to see everything but can divide and conquer as well. Amazing theming

I’m leaving the overall rating blank here as I had a very polarizing experience to the rest of our team. The decorations and theming were great and the hint system was really cool. The puzzles were pretty straightforward and tied in to the theme decently. I, however, had a terrible time in this room. This is because there is a puzzle involving aligning a painting by rotating some parts of it that was TERRIBLE. It requires at least two people and is so unbelievably time consuming and not at all engaging. It’s not really solving a puzzle, just turning a knob you can’t see and someone else has to tell you to keep going or stop or go back. The problem with this is that you’re required to do it 18 TIMES. I spent so much time stuck in an isolated room separate from everyone that when we were finally done the rest of the team had already solved 75% of the rest of the puzzles. This all meant someone is going to get stuck doing that job and doesn’t really get to see any of the rest of the room happen. OR the team can stop and do this incredible tedious puzzle together and waste a bunch of time where really only two people can participate. This “puzzle” wasn’t difficult, it was just time consuming for no good reason. The three members of my team that weren’t involved in that puzzle seemed to have a good time, but the two of us that got stuck doing that one both felt like the experience was ruined by that puzzle. We’re over 100 rooms played now and we’ve never been so frustrated by a puzzle like that before, and it had nothing to do with being able to solve it or not. I don’t want to be too harsh and leave a dislike for this as it wasn’t a problem for the full team, but given my experience I can’t bring myself to like or love it either.

This room was extremely immersive and fun! It was difficult, but in all the best ways. It made us work, but was never impossible. It was definitely our favorite one in the area. Highly recommended for a group of 4-5. Kudos to the staff too! They were welcoming and made it a great time! Thanks!

Fun room with a wisecracking skeleton as a guide. Obvious care and craft have been spent on the set and feel of the room, and had some puzzles I enjoyed quite a bit. We did it with a team of three and think a team of 3-5 is ideal.

The game master participation is a highlight in this room. Besides that, great ambience, logical puzzles, and overall great experience. Just lime the other room, you always know what to do. Some puzzles require time, so don’t waste too much useless time. Did it in a group of 2.
