Wasteland - Dr.Scrappy's Junkyard Labs

We played this room today. Since we already have a lot of experience with escape rooms, we were kindly allowed to play it as a team of two. Our game master Lea did an excellent job and guided us attentively throughout the experience. We really enjoyed the room overall. It was obvious that a great deal of effort and attention to detail went into designing and building it. Some of the puzzles were refreshingly different and stood out from the usual tasks. The atmosphere of the room was also very fitting and enhanced the overall experience. In hindsight, we can clearly understand the recommended minimum of three players. We especially appreciated that we were given a few extra minutes and that no excessive hints were provided, allowing us to solve everything independently. After the game, Lea took the time to explain some of the elements and puzzles in more detail, which made for a particularly special ending to the experience. At the end, we even received a lovely little keepsake.

I really really enjoyed this room! It looks great, you immediately realize how much love was put into it. The riddles are nice, logical and fun. Even though we did not get any hints, I like the way they choose to give hints in this room. Manu was a great gamemaster, too. Everything was to my liking and I don't actually have anything to complain about when it comes to this room.

Apocalyptic atmosphere with some humor? Yes, please!!! Immersion Escape convinces with coherent puzzles, beautiful interiors that match the theme, and insanely great game ladders. Just like the Vikings, everything here is pure craftsmanship. And that's what makes it so charming.
