(Played as Part of The Chimera Corp Saga) The game that made me βgetβ horror rooms. I am very much not someone who enjoys being scared, anxious, or uncomfortable, and this game made me feel this way fully, while also completely safe. The actors in this game balanced story-driven horror and helpfulness in a way that made me feel safe and excited (though not particularly eager, i mean it was STILL scary give me a break) to engage with it. I went into Dark Lullaby dreading it, and looking back on all three games, this one was unexpectedly my favorite. The puzzles were creative and well integrated. The hint system was excellent too. Amazing job you all at Chimera Corp.

My partner, who is not at all a fan of escape rooms after having done a handful or so liked the format of this room much more than any others that we have done. He appreciate the strong storyline element (he's always asking after the rooms "but WHY are we doing this?" and that it just wasn't just dozens of locks, keys, and codes.
Flowed well and were nudged when needed. There were some unique elements that were quite fun.
Amazing set. Plenty of space to move.
Friendly staff. Pork was out GM.

Those with mobility, hearing, vision, and color blindness might not be able to partake as "lead" in all aspects of the experience, as these senses are utilized during gameplay, but if their partner(s) do not have the same disability it shouldn't impact the ability to complete the room. With how good the staff is I'm sure that if they are aware they are able to make accomodations.

Another amazing room! Great theme and actually creepy! Our GM and live actors were amazing! Truly an awesome and unique experience that starts right when you walk in. The puzzles were great and there is an organic "nudge" system tied in. We really enjoyed this room! Can't wait to do more!
Great!
Immersive and creepy!
Absolutely wonderful. Everyone was great and we really enjoyed Pork, our live actor. He was awesome!

This game has a very nice set and memorable actor interactions/banter. Puzzles made sense and were fair. This applies to all the Chimera Corp games, but it's great (and unusual) how much of the experience begins even before entering the actual escape room. The lobby being themed, the in-universe newspapers lying around, and the in universe orientation briefing make things super immersive. Personally, though I'm not a fan of horror, so this game didn't speak to me and was my least favorite of the three Chimera Corp games (though I still enjoyed it and thought it was well done). It did help build up the universe for Help Wanted.
Our GM, Connor, was a fantastic actor and really elevated the experience

Do you like spooky? Do you like spoopy??? Then you should experience Dark Lullaby. I'd recommend this room to anyone who likes scary escape rooms. It nails it. The room design was detailed and immersive. It kept me in a constant state of unease. And of course, I have to gush about the actors!!! Their timing and intensity were spot on. It added a whole new layer of thrill to the puzzles and challenges. It was both scary and exciting. I found myself laughing one moment and jumping and screaming the next. If I could drink a forgetfulness potion so I could do this room all over again, I'd drink it without question. I'd even recommend this room to someone who doesn't like scary because it's such a great experience. This is my favorite of the three rooms at this location. What can I say? I'm a sucker for scary.
The whole experience was a blast. The puzzles weren't too challenging, but the experience was fun, and that's the most critical key to any escape room. There were a few instances where I didn't notice something happening after completing a puzzle, but that could have easily been my unease keeping me from seeing what happened. Luckily, the staff kept things moving in a great direction, so I never lost that sense of being immersed.
Just. Wow. It's a vibe. It's something creepy for everyone. I wish I could go back and just stare at some of the details of the room.
Best staff interactions/Customer service I've had at an escape room. I never felt I was working with someone who had "checked out" for the day. They were in it 110% from the beginning to the end. And I was there for around 5 hours. It's incredibly impressive and super appreciated. Big shoutout to Conner, Ellie, Mattew, Mickey, and Nick. Everybody was super helpful and welcoming. Best escape room customer service I've ever had.

After a lot of reflection, this room is probably my favorite of three rooms offered by Escape Artist Greenville at this location. This was not an easy choice considering how impressive they all are. This room had just the right amount of spooky flare - the sound design and lighting did an excellent job maintaining a creepy atmosphere, the set design fit the story perfectly, and the live actor offered some much needed comedic relief. I've done quite a few spooky rooms at this point, and I think Dark Lullaby is up there with the best of them. I highly recommend doing all three rooms at this location, if possible. They all take place in the same universe, and I appreciate the work they've done to make them all feel cohesive. I highly recommend this room and the others.
The gameplay featured multiple distinct locations and the puzzles were not entirely linear which made it a lot of fun. The gameplay flowed pretty well. There were a couple of instances where there were atmospheric cues that something had happened, but what that thing was wasn't always clear to us. The live actor though did a great job nudging us in the right direction though without breaking character allowing us to remain full immersed.
Everything in the room felt super coherent. From the artwork to the sound and light design, everything was fantastic.
The staff here was amazing - Connor, Ellie, Mattew, Mickey, Nick. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. We were there for nearly 5 hours and I don't think I saw any of them out of character.

The set design on this room was incredible. So many cool spaces. A total of 5 different βareasβ you go into (albeit some are very small). And the transition/experience from room one to two had my jaw on the floor. Our in-room actor was amazing and so so funny. Itβs a βcreepyβ room but I would say they are also comedic to lighten the mood a bit. There were a few puzzles in this one that had me saying βwowβ and were so unique. Definitely an amazing company. Would put this behind starlight motel, but is a close competitor.
Be aware that the βLobbyβ is part of the experience too, so donβt do what we did and call them saying we couldnβt find the place because when we walked in the lobby it was empty and for βChimeraβ π€£lol

8/10 Escape Artist Greenville know how to scare you because this room got the hairs on my back standing on end multiple times. This room will keep a small group busy with its puzzles, have you on your toes the entire experience, and surprise you in the most excellent ways.

So much like Starlight Motel, I'll say this wasn't one of my favorites, which is crazy because note all the awards. I still liked it, but similar to Motel, this is as much as "experience". Definitely more puzzles than Motel and if you do all the rooms here, the overarching storyline fits in perfectly, but this story is chilling. There are some SCARY moments and the set is just amazing. It's still a must-do!
A nice flow.
Amazing!! No spoilers, but the set is HUGE!! How is this all indoors??
