The room seemed like it had a lot of potential, but our experience was ruined by the game master, who gave us an unsolicited hint that essentially solved the room only 20 minutes into our play time.

Atmosphere

Design was great and felt like you could be in Egypt.

Customer service

Game Master gave us a very explicit clue (that we hadn’t asked for!) about 20 minutes in that essentially solved the whole thing. We thought maybe we were running incredibly far behind that they wanted to give us a fighting chance (but also, it was still early?) so we used the hint and were very disappointed that we didn’t actually get to solve the room for ourselves.

The room was okay, nothing great. Wanted to like the second half of it more, but the truth is you don’t get a lot of time in what would be the “better half”. The first is just a LOT of random locks. Some answers were very confusing as to how to find them, and when asked to explain, the Game Master just kept saying, “I don’t know…”, or “I guess…”. They were also watching a baseball game the entire time we were in the room. Overall, it’s an okay room, but there are so many more better rooms in the city that I would recommend.

Gameplay

Okay game flow, but some puzzles didn’t make sense, and when we asked for explanations the game the Game Master couldn’t really tell us. It was more him just guessing or telling us he didn’t know.

Atmosphere

The set design in the second room was neat, but you spent way too much time in the first room to enjoy it.

Customer service

The staff was friendly, but he was watching a baseball game the entire time we were in the room and couldn’t explain puzzles that we had questions on.

It was okay, I’m still waiting for an Egyptian themed room to fully deliver and impress.

Maybe? There was a box that was just kind of left open that looked like it should have had a puzzle connected to it.
