The second room we played at Limbus (after “The Experiment”) - we kind of expected more of it as this is Limbus’ room that made it on the TERPECA list etc. and after having a really great time at “The Experiment” our excitement was super high to play this one. Somehow it didn’t live up to the expectations despite being a great escape room. There were some problems with the electronics when we played so that not all mechanisms worked as they should which interrupted the game flow. Also since the goal here is a bit different from other rooms it would have been good to have some sort of timer so that you can decide by yourself at what point you want to ditch the side quests and just follow the main quest instead. Being solely able to follow the game master who was pressuring due to his character role in regards to timing felt like being a bit too dependent. In summary a very good room, but personally we just had a little more fun at the other room we played at Limbus “The Experiment”.

Fantastic game play and one of the best designs we’ve seen so far. Atmospheric beyond belief!

I really wish this room were better translated. As a mainly English speaking group we struggled with rough translations and some puzzles that were not translated at all. An overly long intro and a request to hurry and leave puzzles unsolved also left a sour taste in my mouth. That said, the sense of progression in this game is great, and some truly interesting puzzle mechanics make this a standout.

Our 16th stop on our Escape Tour Germany 2024 and the final room of the day—despite being exhausted, this one instantly re-energized us! Panzerknacker delivered a brilliant experience with clever mechanics that kept the intensity high and the gameplay engaging. The fast-paced nature of the room added an extra layer of excitement, making it especially fun for competitive teams aiming for a high score. Highly recommended for experienced players who love a challenge, but still a fantastic experience for anyone looking for a thrilling and well-designed escape!

Der Raum hat wirklich alles, was für ein tolles Erlebnis notwendig ist. Ein fantastisches Setting, von Anfang bis Ende perfekt durchdacht und mit tollen Effekten. Dieses Spiel ist auf jeden Fall ein must have in NRW!

Panzerknacker stands out due to its unique game design. Unlike typical escape rooms where puzzles are solved sequentially, this room uses a point system reminiscent of a heist. It allows multiple players to solve puzzles independently, keeping everyone actively engaged and even incorporating elements where players can fail certain sequences. The room isn't very large, but it offers depth, excitement, and time pressure, conveyed through interactive elements rather than a traditional timer. This unique setup makes it highly recommended. While it may not be my personal favorite, its distinct approach and engaging mechanics make it a standout experience that's worth highlighting positively.

Die zwei Phasen im Spiel sind, denke ich eine ideale Verbindung für Leute die Rätsel oder das Erlebnis mögen. Für mich hat das Spiel alles, was es Brauch. Genial umgesetzt in einem grandiosen Setting bei einem tollen Anbieter in coolen Ambiente. Die Tür, das Opening, alles mega! Tolle Spielleitung und wir voll mitgemacht. Das i-Tüpfelchen war der erste Platz im All Time Ranking.
