Although Escapology is a national chain, back when this game is offered, this location had a clause that allowed them to slightly tweak their games from the corporate cloned brain, so there was an over-arching story involving time travel, and gave the games a unique flavor. This one was more of a straightforward lab game.

That’s a neat bit of Escapology history — those locally tweaked versions with the time-travel thread really gave the games extra character. The lab-style setup sounds like it kept things classic and puzzle-focused, even without the larger story arc. It’s great that you got to experience that unique era of the location before everything standardized!
