You find yourself trapped in a strange Laboratory belonging to the mad scientist Dr Crowl. As you search the room, you quickly notice a bomb and a timer counting down. You also see several peculiar objects. Some you recognize, like the 3D printer pen, the burning laser or the vat of slime. Others you have no idea. They must be the key to survival, but can you figure it out in time?

The Mad Scientist is a delightfully mechanical room, with relatively few high tech effects. Overall the game has multiple parallel linear puzzles tracks, which all must be solved to get to the final puzzles. The number of tracks set up by default depends on the number of players, but since the game doesnβt require a ton of intricate set up, the game master was actually able to provide new tracks for us to do when it was clear we were moving ahead of expected pace. Our game master kept a good eye on things and only stepped in when things went really awry for us.

A laser didnβt function as intended, so after a few tries, the GM stepped in and helped advance the flow. Everything else worked well.

The room is decently accessible for those with mobility issues, as the room is small and everything is within a pretty compact space. Those with visual disabilities will miss out on some items, but excel at others.

Super unique game! I love that the game is catered to the group, it made for a perfect challenge!
Very chaotic! But in a fun way.
Loved the acting done by the game master.
Can't say enough about how great Daniel was!!

Hard
It is catered to your group. The faster you go, the more puzzles you get to complete. Basically, they make it as hard as your group can handle. This made it even more fun and exciting when you solved it!

This was a fun first escape room experience for my parents! The puzzles were pretty straightforward and varied in difficulty, which was good for the variety in experience for our group. My family had a great time!

This was a very puzzle heavy laboratory game. Some very fun puzzles, and others I found a bit frustrating. Overall, a nice room with plenty for a group of 4-5 to do.

This simple storyline and set design were nothing much to talk about. However, if you enjoy puzzles this is a good game with clearly articulated flow (itβs literally charted out for you). Great game masters keep the story flowing!

I completed this room with one other person. We were completing the puzzles quite quickly so the GM kept on making the room harder for us by adding more puzzles to get out. The GM even ended up giving us about 10 extra minutes because of the sheer amount of puzzles we wanted to do for two people. Overall an amazing experience, came down to the wire at the end (quite literally).
The gameplay was extremely linear which made it fun to try and speedrun the room.
The atmosphere was fine, youβll be focused more on the sheer amount of puzzles you have to complete than the room.
The staff here is great.
Mechanical
Almost all of the puzzles are mechanical puzzles, not that easy at some times.

This room was super puzzle-centric. I loved it cuz my girlfriend and I would tackle separate puzzles at a time but eventually they all correlated. I stopped by a brewery prior to this room, and I donβt know if it was the cider but I was connecting these puzzles so fast that the GM Lyo came in and added a bunch more puzzles as we were finishing the ones she laid out. Thats the coolest part, the GM can add more puzzles to the room as needed. We finished all the ones she laid out for us and allowed to tackle the last set of puzzles at the end which is the hardest one. Loved all 3 rooms. Pick any, you wonβt be disappointed
