Your Grandfather’s Candy Shop has won numerous awards for crafting the most wonderful chocolate in the world. He passed away a few years ago and his will was just recently found. In his will, he has named you, his favorite grandchild, his successor but only if you can prove you are as crafty, cunning, and as smart as he was. Therefore, he has hidden his secret recipe in the shop and devised various puzzles and clues to help lead you to the coveted recipe. He has given you one full hour to complete this task, and if you should not succeed, he will have no choice but to pass you over in favor of someone more qualified. Can you find Grandpa’s secret recipe and prove that you are worthy of inheriting The Candy Shop?

Did this for my 9 year olds birthday. For a kids room it was a bit harder than I expected. Myself and my husband were challenged too. We really liked this room and it was better than expected.

I absolutely adored this game. The set was a perfect candy store replica & the puzzles, all sweetly (heh) candy-themed. The storyline was great (including the shady lawyer) and everything flowed like melted chocolate. I really appreciated that you didn’t just need to find the missing recipe, you needed to make use of it! Great great room!

This was our first ever escape room. We had two adults and (2) 8 yr olds in the group with the idea of having the kids take the lead to escape the room. After completing the room, there was no way the kids would’ve made it out on their own. We only thought they could escape because it said 5+ on the website but I think that means the decor is suitable for kids not that kids can complete it. We didn’t know that prior but not a big deal. We loved the room and it was great a starter room. It challenged us and we had a blast. We escaped with plenty of time left. The GM was great. I would definitely recommend if you haven’t done a room or very inexperienced.

We have done quite a few escape rooms now and this was one of the first few we did. This one is still one of our top rooms. It was a fun light hearted room with nice puzzles. The staff was very friendly too.
