The Heist

Some we aren’t sure how we solved. Some of the clues were worn down so had to go back and try to decipher. Cool concept but execution was a bit off. Still, very enjoyable. Love the folks at the escape game.

As a public room, having eight players greatly impacted the experience. It was a competent escape room, but not worth the price for the risk of a crowded room.

Successfully done with 2. One of the weakest rooms of the franchise in my opinion. Felt bland and not that exciting. Ending was lackluster. But compared to average rooms not in the franchise, still fun to do and recommended!

1st escape room…it was amazing experience back in Jan 2018. Set the bar for everything else and this still stands as a very good room.

Super fun museum room! I felt like every puzzle was well signposted and it had a clear flow. Also liked how the heist narrative progressed, especially towards the end. Still not a fan of public bookings and never will be, so that’s still a shrug. But I still recommend this room otherwise. Maybe not as much as other Escape Game rooms but a solid choice at the Chicago location at least!

Our first non private room, and it will make us seriously consider ever doing that again. The room was fine. It was a fun room, but we wished it leaned into the unique theme more. Some fun puzzles and satisfying reveals.

Awesome production quality and integration of technology without the room feeling like just a video game. Actually made it feel like we were robbing a museum.

worth every penny

My husband and I had gone to Chicago. He was going to see a Scissor Sisters concert and I was off to do some escape rooms with some new enthusiast friends. You would think that after polishing off two escape rooms I would be satisfied for the day, but oh no, I had to do one more. The second I walked through the door to start the room, he showed up to pick me up to drive home. Timing is everything! The story was your typical thief vs thief and we were tasked to break into the home of a great thief to expose them. The set was top notch. We started off in a foyer art gallery filled with beautiful statues and paintings. Once we bypassed his security we entered his sumptuous lair. You always felt you were inside a posh area. It felt expensive and worldly and I always love this about their rooms. The puzzles were clever and gave all three of us so much to do. We each had a chance to shine and solve some of these beauties. The finale was adorable and it was great to escape into the face of a scowling husband.
