Weβve done over 100 rooms across the country and while this room design was visually outstanding, the GM was one of the worst weβve ever had. At the end of the room they refused to share the rest of the puzzles and how far from completion we were. We had a newbie with us and instead of proceeding to another room we left. Disappointing.
This room relied on ambiguity rather than difficult puzzles. You had to guess what to do rather than know and have tough puzzles.
The GM refused to share how close we were at the end and walk us through the rest of the puzzles. Weβve done over 100 rooms and never had this experience.

The set design and production are superior to other space games Iβve played. The puzzles were fun. The only hard part is with all tech sometimes we were confused who just finished their puzzle when something opened. These games are all public and we were placed with another couple. But they were awesome, so it worked out. If we were placed with duds or children I feel like the experience would not have been fun. So that is a risk! Overall a very fun escape room. We escaped with minimal time on the clock, the adrenaline was pumping.

Very fun room and could work for a larger group! We had 5 and that felt perfect. Great set and lots of puzzles. Some pretty tough stuff. A few little hints and we got thru no problem :)

Escape Games always has great set design and would recommend it for anyone. But they're also one of the few companies that offers their rooms as a shared experience. So depending on who you get paired up with, may change the experience entirely. (We were paired up with a bunch of high schoolers... feels like they were forced to play) The room itself had a lot of fun urgency as we all scrambled around trying to fix the ship, but I think if you're going for space themes, their latest room Cosmic Crisis is better done!

We were visiting from out of town and wanted to do an escape room with our friends. I've played almost all the Escape Games in Los Angeles so far and this is my least favorite room in their whole franchise. Part of it does have to do with the grouping system. Like many people said in the other reviews, it can be a hit and miss with these public games depending on who you get paired up with. As for the room itself, this is an immersive room that leans heavily on the technology side. The storyline makes sense. The puzzles are not too hard, but feels a little too childish. There was nothing too memorable for me personally in terms of the puzzles. There is a lot to do given the amount of space they do have and an ideal number would be 4 people. More than that and the room could feel too crowded. Parking in this area could be hard because it is in downtown Chicago and they do validate for parking. At the time we came, their validation came out to $17 for four hours.

It was a good room, Iβm just not a fan of technology-based rooms. They have a few other rooms that were really good, though!!

We loved how immersive this was! Technology was so cool. Probably the best weβve done so far. Did the Gold Rush room right after because Mars was so much fun!
