Prison Break

We did need 3 hints, but there were so many different puzzles and areas that it didn’t feel like we were giving up. After we finished, the host said that no one got thru it without and hints, but I think he was just trying to make us feel better!!

We had 8 players and it got just a bit crowded. I think 6 would have been ideal!

One part required that someone crawl thru to another room, but once they did they could open a door for others to walk in.

A great flow to the room, everything in the room was set up well. Everything was well articulated

Compared to other prison escape rooms, this was by far the most immersive and incredibly fun

Comparing to other prison break rooms, this one had everything going for it. Nothing wasted.

There are stairs that have about 1/3 of the puzzles.

Our momentum stuttered a few times but overall the flow was pretty good and the fun factor was extremely high.

Detailed set design!

Most of the individual puzzles weren't too hard but sometimes it was tough connecting all the dots. We did ask for 2 clues which is more than usual for my group. I could see this room being very challenging for many people.

There are a few details that I think could be scary for sensitive folks.

One part requires crawling but only one player needs to do it. There are a few steps. And a couple puzzles involve throwing things.

I do not think this room would be wheelchair accessible at all. One puzzle relies on color.

Mall of America has clear directories to use.

A couple of locks were not working properly but overall it wasn’t bad.
