Was it a massive computer glitch? Sabotage? Or maybe something even more sinister? There’s no time for speculation – all you know is that you only have 60 minutes to escape, and you better not forget that research sample! Lunar Mission Escape Room in Koreatown, LA is a fairly difficult escape room game that will test your observation and reasoning skills on board a space station that is quickly running out of oxygen. This game is designed to be challenging, but with creativity, teamwork, and maybe a little luck, both experienced enthusiasts and clever first-timers might just find themselves on an escape shuttle home. Read more The year is 2088, and you’re about to be a part of history! Humanity has just embarked upon the next giant step in our quest towards the stars. We have begun constructing an intergalactic fleet of starships that will allow us to travel beyond the limits of our galaxy for the very first time. Your group is part of Project LUNA, a research program that has been searching for a renewable energy source capable of meeting the energy needs of this intrepid fleet. The heart of Project LUNA is the top-secret research station on the surface of the moon, where NASA scientists have spent years developing an energy prototype based on several unique organic compounds found there. With the program on the verge of a major breakthrough, you and your group of 2-6 are two teams of scientists assigned to the lunar station, with one team just about to join the other aboard the lunar station. Little do any of you know, things are about to take an unexpected turn, and you will soon find yourselves racing against the clock to escape the collapsing lunar station before your oxygen runs out!

I wanted to like this room because it has a well thought out theme and a cool layout, but it fell short for me. It started out promising, but after the first couple puzzles, it became frustrating mostly because it was WAY too dark for a room that required reading. Much of the room is in blue light & some of the signs are black letters on a red background that mostly disappears in blue light. It’s an older room that needs some updating to keep it relevant. I wouldn’t recommend this room unless you bring your own flashlight.

This escape room was super fun to do! You’ll love everything from working together with your teammates and perhaps a certain friendly unknown species!

Fun game if you are into space, astronomy and astronauts, which will help solve a few of the puzzles. Recommend 4 ppl for this game since there is a good amount to do.

We loved the decor of this room and the technology was really cool. We don’t like the low light rooms which this was. We had to use our cell phone lights most of the time and wish it was brighter. This was a difficult room to see where and how to solve puzzles. Had to get some help but over all a good room. We completed this with three people

This game needs to be put down. We had a cacophony of things go wrong. Firstly, there was only 1 GM running multiple games. So we got in late. This first puzzle is communication which you have to do over crummy walkie talkies. The sound/music in the room is bad and it made everything frustrating. The main puzzle in the second room was straight up broken. Just didn’t work. The GM just messaged us and told us to pull open the door because when she buttoned to open, it barely moved. At this point we lost faith in the game. You were supposed to scan fingerprints but the “scanners weren’t marked. There was a puzzle that was based on hot and cold but the hot parts were scalding. It was dangerous. Toward the end we tapped out because the game was just terrible. I recommend going to the LAX location and avoiding this

Let me start off by saying our Game Master Armen was a phenomenal game master as well as owner for Mazeroom Vermont. I was honored to be nable to play one of his games. As with his other rooms—Lunar mission is no exception to great immersion and technology! The set design, sound effects, and immersive effects make you feel like u were really in outer space on a Lunar Mission! Though i don’t believe it is typically offered (or could be a new beginning) we had a LIVE ACTOR THAT ADDED SO MUCH THRILL AND FUN LOL It was exhilarating! It made exploring this new universe more UNKNOWN as u may not know what youd encounter 😉😜 This was one of our last rooms we have left at Maze Room so im thankful Armen made it so memorable for us! Puzzles are high tech but fit within the universe! If you enjoy a sci fi thriller this is for u! We did it with a group of 2, but a larger group may benefit because it is one of the harder rooms and meant for more peiple but by no means impossible! Parking can be easy or medium depending on time of day as the parking lot neighbors a local grocery store! I suggest parking in the alley right past the Seafood city as there is a small cul de sac that has plenty of curb parking that is a simple block away. There is an elevator to take upstairs to the Mazeroom unit which is on the second floor. It is located on the ground level, facing the front of the parking lot. Check out the other amazing rooms that were done by Armen!!! Sky Odyssey , Steam Punk Alice, Men In Suits, Spy dogs, and Cyberpunk Samurai. ALL OF THEM HAVE THE BEST TECHNOLOGY, the BEST immersive set designs, and the most creative/unique puzzles!!
Such a realistic experience that was willed with sci fi and high tech moments!!
Very immersive set design!! With ALOT of GRAND pieces
Armen was SO kind to us. I believe he was the owner and creator of other maze rooms as wel!

I went as a group of 2, but around 3-4 would be better as it can be alittle easier to brainstorm things with! Since the room is so large
Spooky
Though I think it was because Armen was cool with us hahaha—We actually had a Live Actor version HAHAH and lemme tell u it was SO FUN AND HILARIOUS BUT EXHILARATING because it kept me on my toes

There is a store parking lot in front but it shares with a local grocery store and can get VERY congested. Consider parking on the alley past the grocery store for AMPLE curb parking!

I kept claiming to see the moon outside the room’s “window,” only to keep having to be reminded that I was actually on the moon the whole time Y’all used the wrong “their” btw

I liked the part where they spelled Captain wrong, used the wrong their and the Lunar Scientist said “guys” in the most casual way I’ve ever heard… she was a G. Straight up.
