Let me start off by saying our Game Master Armen was a phenomenal game master as well as owner for Mazeroom Vermont. I was honored to be nable to play one of his games. As with his other rooms—Lunar mission is no exception to great immersion and technology! The set design, sound effects, and immersive effects make you feel like u were really in outer space on a Lunar Mission! Though i don’t believe it is typically offered (or could be a new beginning) we had a LIVE ACTOR THAT ADDED SO MUCH THRILL AND FUN LOL It was exhilarating! It made exploring this new universe more UNKNOWN as u may not know what youd encounter 😉😜 This was one of our last rooms we have left at Maze Room so im thankful Armen made it so memorable for us! Puzzles are high tech but fit within the universe! If you enjoy a sci fi thriller this is for u! We did it with a group of 2, but a larger group may benefit because it is one of the harder rooms and meant for more peiple but by no means impossible! Parking can be easy or medium depending on time of day as the parking lot neighbors a local grocery store! I suggest parking in the alley right past the Seafood city as there is a small cul de sac that has plenty of curb parking that is a simple block away. There is an elevator to take upstairs to the Mazeroom unit which is on the second floor. It is located on the ground level, facing the front of the parking lot. Check out the other amazing rooms that were done by Armen!!! Sky Odyssey , Steam Punk Alice, Men In Suits, Spy dogs, and Cyberpunk Samurai. ALL OF THEM HAVE THE BEST TECHNOLOGY, the BEST immersive set designs, and the most creative/unique puzzles!!
Such a realistic experience that was willed with sci fi and high tech moments!!
Very immersive set design!! With ALOT of GRAND pieces
Armen was SO kind to us. I believe he was the owner and creator of other maze rooms as wel!

I went as a group of 2, but around 3-4 would be better as it can be alittle easier to brainstorm things with! Since the room is so large
Spooky
Though I think it was because Armen was cool with us hahaha—We actually had a Live Actor version HAHAH and lemme tell u it was SO FUN AND HILARIOUS BUT EXHILARATING because it kept me on my toes

Crawling at one part.

Medium
There is a store parking lot in front but it shares with a local grocery store and can get VERY congested. Consider parking on the alley past the grocery store for AMPLE curb parking!

I kept claiming to see the moon outside the room’s “window,” only to keep having to be reminded that I was actually on the moon the whole time Y’all used the wrong “their” btw

I liked the part where they spelled Captain wrong, used the wrong their and the Lunar Scientist said “guys” in the most casual way I’ve ever heard… she was a G. Straight up.

Ringing in the new year with a very solid installment from Maze Rooms. The lack of cohesive story was the biggest negative I can give this room but that did not take away from the fun I had in it. You’re on a stranded spaceship and you need to repower it to get back - simple enough. It’s a physically demanding room with the amount you need to retrace steps and crawl but that’s part of the fun. Puzzles were abundant and tricky for two seasoned players, though we got out with 5 minutes to spare, we were sweating by the end and had helpful nudges from Mig who was a fantastic gamemaster.

The atmosphere of the room was great. The puzzles were a bit basic and the flow of the room was convoluted at times.

Wide variety of puzzle types, some of which were quite complex and multi step which kept things interesting. I'm still not sure what the story was in the end but the space was immersive and engaging. Didn't love there was a game master setting up and managing multiple rooms so when we asked for a clue there was a delay and they didn't know where we were in the room.
The flow was a bit choppy and one of the crucial puzzles wasn't operating correctly requiring gamesmaster intervention.
The plot was forgettable- I'm still my totally sure what was supposed to have happened. More like a series of puzzles.

This is definitely a harder room. In our experience, some of the puzzles didn’t make sense. I felt like some of the space wasn’t used efficiently, and the decor wasn’t the best. It could definitely use some TLC. Accessibility wise, there is one part which requires everybody to go through a smaller tunnel. Grand in scale, but suffers a bit on execution 😟 escaped in 57 minutes as a group of 4

We had booked sky odyssey but accidentally booked at the wrong time so we had to do lunar mission which was a disappointment. The gameplay was very basic (mainly pushing buttons that light up) and the flow from room to room was mediocre at best. There was no excitement from this room at all. And when it ended we were all like “that’s it?”. Both magic kingdom and lunar mission were disappointing. Wondering if sky odyssey is even worth it based on these two.

“Not only was it beautiful, it was unbelievably elaborate--much more intricate and extensive...“
“There is something interesting to see in Lunar Mission [but]... it doesn’t fail gracefully.“
