Can you solve literature’s most famous crime? You are world-renowned Detective Hercule Poirot, aboard the famous Orient Express and have just solved the murder of Mr Ratchet, a man found stabbed to death in his cabin after being proved guilty of abducting and killing a young child - Daisy Armstrong - the daughter of a WW1 hero. However, just as you are preparing to deliver your verdict, you find out about a more deadly plan. From earlier investigations, you’re able to narrow down six suspects, but now, you must find the killer and repair the brake lines to stop the train before it speeds off the railway. Failure means certain death for all, while success means solving the most famous crime in history, and saving everyone aboard. Will you gather the evidence and catch the murderer before it’s too late?

Did not complete the room the first try but will be back to try it again and will beat it in the next time. The room is designed well and flows well with the storyline. Look forward to playing it again.

This room decor definitely had you in the vibe of the storyline and the puzzles were manageable. The only thing j didn't like was that you had to be so precise with placement on a few puzzles that if you didn't have then in a very specific spot nothing would happen. I fully believe that we would have escaped if that wasn't the fact.

every room we have done at escapology has basically been the same gameplay, with the same layout. there’s always a few puzzles that they have to walk you through because they’re just it quality and confusing. i always say you can tell the difference between escape companies that do it for the money vs companies that do it because it’s their passion, and it’s evident that escapology, all locations, are for the money. we’ve done a few rooms because the storylines sound fun, but we’re always left disappointed. officially won’t be returning.

We went on the opening night for this room and were unfortunately unable to get clues because staff were (understandably) very busy. I’m sure others will be able to escape, as we were very close even with little help!
