You and your crew of... let's say "acquisitions specialists"... are still reeling from your last job-gone-wrong. A couple years ago, you teamed up with noted billionaire and collector, Lucius Roberts, to recover the legendary Ark of Atlantis. However, Lucius betrayed you and kept the Ark (along with all the riches inside of it) for himself! What he doesn't know, though, is that you've kept the key to opening the Ark all these years. Now, you're going to pull off the ultimate heist: sneak into Lucius's estate, open the Ark, and escape with the treasure. Your person-on-the-inside got you in. It's up to you to get out.

This is a very small game, but with loads of puzzles in the tiny space. We liked it because the different puzzles both touched on Groot and my skill set so we both were needed for the escape. I would recommended a smaller group , max 4 people due to the space.

Overall good room with a nice museum vibe to it. Unfortunately one of the puzzles was broken which stumped our group and held us up a bit. Staff super welcoming and friendly.

This room is the newest one at Escape New Haven but I was disappointed that it was not a great as the one before it, Before Moonrise. I believe this room used to be The Gallery room beforehand and is kind of similar - one room, a museum gallery sort of, that you need to solve puzzles in. Most of the puzzles were solid but my group did get stuck on one particular puzzle that we felt was a bit obtuse and we ended up needing a hint for.

Super solid experience!! This was a well needed replacement to their previous art heist room. There were definitely some sections where technology failed and delayed some of our progress. However our game master was very helpful in sending out clues and helping us bypass any tech trouble we ran into. Overall a very fun experience!!

Always an absolute pleasure!!

Particularly interesting or different

No

It was a fun take on the traditional heist theming done by a solid design team

Story

Elements were well integrated but the story was pretty light and the ending felt a bit flat

Difficulty

Medium

Game tech

High tech

Pretty high tech but a lot of similar technology and some of it was a bit faulty

Ideal number of players

4

Scary

Not scary

There are mag locks and automatic cases that open that make loud noises but nothing else is intense

Minimum age

8

Was anything broken?

Yes

Unfortunately a few things were a bit bugged and it slowed us down a bit but when we brought up the issues to the game master, they helped us to bypass the stuck parts

Live actors

No

Physically active

Somewhat

Not very demanding but a higher than average amount of running around

Accessibility

This room was quite small and down 3 flights of stairs which would be difficult for anyone that uses mobility aids. Many of the puzzles relied on sight to be able to accomplish but there were some puzzles that relied on sound. Overall this was not a very accessible room.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Easy

Plenty of street parking out front and close to good restaurants!!
