Possession At Haddon Heights

Scary-ish but not nearly enough jump scares for horror room. I found this room to be incredibly linear, making it pretty easy. The end was pretty anti-climactic too. That being said some of the puzzle were creative and it had a nice creepy vibe.

This is essentially that episode of anime where the kids investigate the creepy school mysteries. This room is genuinely spooky. There are a few cheap jump scares, but none of that is creepier than the narrative, which unfolds expertly into a thrilling climax. High of tech amplifies the immersion in eerily effective ways. A dark Halloween elementary school is a rare genius setting. The puzzles cleverly combined childlike tasks with horror, and made us feel uneasy in the best way. I just wish there was a flashlight for each of us, so that we could better split up and explore the completely dark areas like the kids in Scooby-Doo. The use of special headphones was weird and honestly unnecessary. Otherwise, school’s in session… if you dare…

Very easy scary room. Lots of jump scares and spooky elements. Very intuitive puzzles with fun child like twists. Immersive set!!

Loved the entire atmosphere from walking in to the actual game. Was scary at times.

This room was fun a an exciting, with just the right amount of spookiness and jump scares! For the more seasoned escape room players this room will seem pretty easy for you, taking you maybe just 20-30 min to complete. For the intermediate and novice escape room players this room offers just the right amount of challenges and ability to follow clues, linear design, for players to escape. Overall a great room! I love going to an escape room where there is something that I never encountered before. This escape room had no locks or keys, and used technology to enhance the game play! Very well done Bureau!!

Not enough puzzles. We were stunned when the game master came in after just 24 minutes and we were done. Potential, but it just wasn’t enough.

This was my favorite at this location so far!! As always, the puzzles are so well integrated into the room and story. The puzzles that you solve make sense in the context of what your goal is which is why I love the bureau so much. Everything was so well done. I went in thinking that there were going to be multiple jumpscares which slowed us down because we were so paranoid. There were only a couple minor jumpscares. I loved the story and it felt so real. Every small detail added to the creepiness. Also, Ajax was such a great game master!!

I really enjoyed the theme of this room! The first room was a bit slow and confusing. The handles were finicky, but after the first 10 minutes its AMAZING! I was screaming bc of the jump scares. The puzzles made sense and definitely pay attention to EVERYTHING in each room. Loved this room and the employees. They scared us with our bday gift for our friend!

Use of flashlights slows gameplay down so a not-so-hard escape room takes a little longer. Several interesting/novel uses of tech/puzzles. As always at the bureau, the set/props are extremely well made. Scary! Not my favorite at the bureau though.
