276 escape rooms
I am at a loss of how to explain my experience with this company. If I look at the room by itself, the design is basic and for the most part effective. I guess my wish was if you're going to represent gore then put some effort into it for realism. Bright red paint haphazardly splashed around doesn't fill with you with dread. It just looks lazy. The final section of the game picks up the theme and does it correctly. Nice creepy aesthetic. The puzzles were on the positive side for the most part. They are beginner level stuff but effective and fun. The story doesn't come to a conclusion and there is no resolution to the question posed at the start of the story. It wasn't a deal breaker or anything but it was a little "meh, this could easily be fixed with a better intro. My main issue was the business end of it. We were told to not touch the countdown tv in the room. There was no countdown tv in the room. We got a message over the walkie talkie at the 40 minute mark and the twenty minute work. There were cameras in the room but it was obvious that nobody was watching. When we did ask for a hint, they asked us what we needed a hint with and it was obvious they had no idea where we were. Nobody is there to greet you when you escape and you are have to walk back up to the counter. We weren't told this but we learned because of the first room we did here. I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. It was a fun trip.
