The Castle

Played this game with my mom and a friend! Really cool theming and the multiple levels is something unique I’ve not seen since!

Final game experience of three (did Pharaoh’s Curse and Ghost Town earlier in the day) and this may have been the most fun of the three. Not too difficult, but not easy either. Enjoyed the interactive portions of the game very much. The Room has three stories and you will be going up and down some, so be prepared. The room is quite immersive and fun. A couple aspects were new to our group despite having done over 60 rooms together. Looking forward to going back to do more games here given their attention to room details and decor. Lots of fun in all three rooms we did.

Wow! When I first saw an advertisement for a room with three stories I knew I had to play!! My husband and I were not sure if we would be able to accomplish a room designed with a minimum of four people. The group was very accommodating and allowed to play us with just the two of us. In hindsight, a larger group would have made things easier but, hey, we did it! The set is absolutely astonishing!! This is a gigantic full blown castle with a working drawbridge! Did I mention the stairs? So many stairs. Up and down through the corridors and rooms. There was so much to look at and discover. I wish I had an extra twenty minutes to just walk through the space and see what else I could discover. The puzzles were amazing and gave us so much to do! It felt like we were really on a mystic quest! I really loved the logic puzzle in one of the upper levels. So much fun! Make sure you stretch beforehand and make sure you are properly hydrated!

The set is very impressive. The look is very cool.....There are a couple of fun puzzles, some good effects. But honestly this is only a like for me. The room felt like a big scavenger hunt, where you are looking for things not solving thigs. I still give it a like based on the look alone, but I would chose another game at this facility if given another chance to pick over.

This location is the absolute best for immersion and thematic puzzles. Every time we do a room, we always think that was our favorite. This one is no exception. So cool and so fun. 3 story castle and a working drawbridge!!

Hands down our favorite room at Countdown! High tech , great variety of puzzles , and I felt like a true wizard ! My kids even enjoyed this one (ages 9 and 11)

If you are looking into this room it’s definitely for the set, and I can promise you, on that front, it does not disappoint. It is a true three story castle set built into the center of this location. That is unfortunately the highlight, this room employs a lot of search puzzles that I don’t really enjoy. It also employs multiple riddles which can be a tad bit repetitive. We played with a team of two which I do think made the scavenging more difficult, but otherwise we were able to finish every task set in this game. (Pro-tip this location let us play this game with two because we played after another game and were treated as walk-ins.) Overall, it is a highly impressive set filled with middling puzzles. Worth the play if you are here, but they have better rooms to offer.

Lots of searching puzzles which were fun but not as satisfying. We loved the impressive atmosphere most of all!

Came in expecting the room to be just a nicely decorated room simulating the inside of a castle. But NOPE! There is an entire 3-story castle inside this company’s facility! The whole structure was impressive. And a moment at the top was an excellently timed Easter egg for a rainy escape knight out! The puzzles aren’t too hard, though there is a lot of scavenging, some of which was way too hard to find without assistance from our helpful GM. Even though the rooms aren’t super big, it’s a magical accomplishment to have such a large castle within!

The castle that was built for this room is the star. The puzzles in the room are ok, a couple of them are a bit too long. This room is worth doing just to walk around the castle.
