Doctor Who: A Dalek Awakens

Many of the puzzles did not connect logically without a clue. And many left you wondering where to go next. Some were broken, some were reset wrong and some were finicky. I was really excited for this room as a doctor who fan and it was a lackluster and disappointing experience. Our game guide was also nice during our intro but our outro was super super awkward and they never mentioned the broken things. They just said at least you made it out. Apparently it’s a hard game. A game should be hard due to cool and complex but still logically sound puzzles NOT puzzles that require you to guess because nothing connects them.

It was a good room. We did it with 2 people and could have used at least one more to help with a few things. Very clever theme.

The room was fun. It doesn't require knowledge of Dr. Who, but being familiar with the show makes it more relatable. Very linear puzzles. Stay alert to changes within the room. We often solved puzzles, but it wasn't obvious that we had or what the solution triggered.

Amazing room, played as a team of two as an introduction to escape rooms for my partner, and we both loved the experience. Everything was working, it was perfect for a team of two as it was a linear room, and hints were prompt when asked for. The BBC link meant the dalek was real and the voice acting was a brilliant addition! Very cool trying to avoid being detected by the dalek, added an extra layer to the pressure of the challenges!

This game was somewhat lacking... Its a shame there's only one room and not much happens with the dalek. I wouldn't say it was worth the money.

Overall, this was a great experience, especially for Doctor Who fans! It was a more linear room, which I’m not in favor of as they often leave players idling during certain puzzles, but otherwise it was fun and incredibly immersive.

Cute game, but not something I’d recommend to puzzle enthusiasts. I believe Doctor Who fans will enjoy it. One piece malfunctioned for us. Some puzzles are illogical or need explaining. It was fine, but you can go play other (non escape room) games in the venue after!

Very technical, and not always logical. But a fun room for Doctor Who fans (and Doctor Who fan supporters). Also the location in the Battle Bar is so fun- we ended up playing a ridiculous game of mini golf after and having a blast.

Great linear room with some novel puzzle aspects we hadn't seen in other rooms. High production value but some puzzles are a bit unclear on how to start. Overall a fun room for Doctor Who enthusiasts and folks who haven't seen the show. Note that this escape company is in a bar with a lot of fun activities to do after the room
