There is an ancient secret society, known sometimes as the Order of the Illuminati, an organization composed mainly of scientists, philosophers, and moguls. Their goal is to undermine any authority but their own until they rule the world. First room we have ever walked out of. The first puzzle is horrible and the only hint we got from the GM was check your work… then you have a 5 minute wait before you’re allowed to ask for a hint. We were again told to check our work. I said I wasn’t waiting another 5 minutes for a hint and after a few minutes of waiting we walked out. The GM was the worst mannered GM I’ve ever met. We’ve done all the rooms at 2 of their other locations but we will never return to this location because of our experience. $140 for 4 people to be told to check their work over and over instead of guided towards the answer.

That first puzzle threw us for a loop, but after we eventually figured it out…15 minutes later….😅 we were on our way! We made it out with time to spare. Saw some cool things in this room that we hadn’t seen before. We definitely overthought a few things in this room, but still enjoyed it.

Fun room! I did prefer the Walking Death room overall, but this game is a fine choice.
Gameplay
The gameplay was fantastic. Many of the puzzles could only be done by one player at a time, which is disappointing, but that’s how linear game play is. I’d recommend this game for small groups so that nobody is standing around.

This was one of the more fun rooms I’ve played. The flow of the puzzles went really smoothly. There were a few times we were stuck, but with a couple subtle clues from the game master, my teammate and I were able to connect the dots and successfully escape.

There’s a quick moment when an alarm sounds and you have to hide from someone sent to snatch you if you didn’t put in the code to disarm the alarm quick enough. It was quite entertaining finding somewhere to hide.
