We liked this room a lot. The theme was very evident throughout the whole of the room. The decor and the puzzles were right on point. The puzzles were clever, yet intuitive and the right mix of logic, problem solving, and basic hide & seek. I can’t really think of anything in this room that we did not enjoy - although one of the last puzzles needed to solve the room was a little hard to understand the direction the room was trying to make - we ended up using a process of elimination rather than solving the actual puzzle, if that makes sense.
We felt like we went through the two rooms pretty quickly, solving the puzzles as we went and really didn’t need any clues, until we literally couldn’t find an item and then for directions on how to solve one of the final puzzles, but even then, we didn’t end up using that clue, really.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this room. It would be a good first time room for a group just starting out with escape rooms - it’s got a good mix of the types of puzzles I’ve seen around at other escape room locations.
Puzzles flowed well, and there were a few you could work on independently of the rest, to get to the overall goal. Some were linear, but not all.
Very immersive and just the right amount of decor.
GM was welcoming and friendly
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
There were a few logic puzzles that were different than I’d seen anywhere else, and all of the clues were on point with the theme
Easy to follow and the puzzles and pieces that went along with the puzzles were very themed.
I felt like we went through the room puzzles pretty quickly. The things that cost us time was literally looking for things, and there was a decoding puzzle that took some time
There were a few cool special effects that went along with the clues and the ending was very mechanical, which was kinda cool.
Some logic puzzles might be harder for younger kids
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
Very accessible - no stairs or narrow doorways. If you can get in the building, you can do this room. Even in the temporary dim light, there was enough light to see by and there wasn’t any noise that was disruptive
