Operation Nightwalker

Another amazing room my Mindtrap! This company continues to produce top escape rooms in this area. Enjoyed the zombie theme with WW2, had another set of unique puzzles we hadn't seen before and enjoyed it being non linear. A bit spooky but not overly scary.

This room definitely had some interesting aspects to it! You feel almost as if you are in a zombie game and the decor was spot on for the vibe they were aiming for. Knowing there was a live actor in this room as I was scared initially but have no fear, they do not interact with you in the way you might think they would. Did this room with on our kids and she found the sounds/decor to be just right without being “scary.”

This was a fun one! Lots of jump scares that got me good but didn't overwhelm me too badly. Live actor wasn't so scary but that's ok it was fun still and really clever game.

This room was a surprise favorite for me. Definitely in the top 3 out of all the MindTrap rooms. Because horror is not my favorite genre, I was not looking forward to coming in but the puzzles made up for it. The way that this room tackled the whole zombie genre is refreshing. There was a puzzle at the end that made us laugh. Would recommend with a group of 4-6. There was quite a bit of going back and forth between the rooms so it helps to have a larger number of people. Zombies but with Nazis? That’s not something that we see all the time and I’d recommend this experience wholeheartedly.

The set is really well done. It had some tough and clever puzzles that really stand out, one of which just kept building upon itself. The anticipation of a jump scare had me on edge the entire game and the last puzzle was really cool.

Operation Nightwalker was a surprise favorite for me. Definitely top 3 or 4 of Mindtrap’s games, when I wasn’t really looking forward to it going in. This game is scary, it’s got a theme I can’t say I’ve seen anywhere else in an escape room, I mean, Nazi Zombies? Not exactly your typical escape room theme. However, the old, decrepit, German bunker was so well made! The puzzles were fun and on theme. There really isn’t much bad I can say about this game, it was fun, it was freaky, and it was all around wunderbar.

It wasn’t a bad room but overall I didn’t like it. At the time I did this room, I’d done 20-30 games and this was the only one I didn’t like. There were a couple of original puzzles that were cool but most of them were uselessly tedious. Things like needlessly garbled verbal instructions that were too quiet to hear, which was annoying to me because if I struggle, I want it to be for a brain challenge, not poorly executed clues. I won’t spoil anything but a few of the clues didn’t have enough information to connect the clues and you’re left with a lot of guessing. We asked the host afterwards and ever her explanation showed the big holes. This room is good for people looking to be scared and like horror.

This was my favorite room at MindTrap. It has a good level of difficulty, the puzzles are solid the whole way through, the set design is excellent, and the whole experience was immersive without going over the top in the ways that rooms about zombies and Nazis sometimes do. Highly recommended.

Pretty solid room and takes on the zombie theme well. If you are into zombies then this is the room for you. Couple of the puzzles are unique and sick!! I think this room is good with 3-4 players max
