2 ways to play: Team Kevin After waking up in the attic, you find that your wish has came true, your family has disappeared. After only enjoying a short time of alone bliss; two bandits try to break into your house. They have their own plans to ruin your Christmas. It is now up to you to defend your house, call the cops, and get to the treehouse before they get away with the family jewels. Team Wet Bandits You've done your research and know the best house to hit this Christmas. The McCallister house is perfect, except for one thing. A kid left home alone is trying to stop you. You won't let a little thing like a kid stand in your way. You have only one hour to avoid the traps, get the family jewels, and escape before the rotten kid calls the cops.

We just really enjoy the layout of the games at Hourglass Escape Rooms in both Searcy, AR and Russellville, AR. There are lots of interesting puzzles and the games are linear, making them excellent for beginners. They may explain this on the website but this room can be played from the side of Kevin or replayed as the Wet Bandits (we played as Kevin using his puzzles which are different from the Wet Bandits). This game had some blasts from the past. Unfortunately, we spent 10+ minutes on the first puzzle until we used their iPad system to request a set clue, which we then used to solve the first puzzle almost immediately. From there, it was relatively smooth flowing with some fun puzzles. If you've seen the movie, playing this game will be even more enjoyable. We're looking forward to going back to play as the Wet Bandits.
The puzzles flowed well using Hourglass Escape Room's methodology of labeling their puzzles sequentially so it's easier to find what you're looking for to solve the next puzzle. Once we got past our first puzzle (because we didn't follow directions that were available to us already) the game flowed quickly and smoothly with some fun puzzles.
Excellent staff. Friendly and accommodating. We decided to do this game after completing two others and wanting to do a third on the fly. The staff got us signed up quickly and easily.

But a fun theme anyway. Better around Christmas time?
Easy
Easy to medium using their sequential puzzle methodology. A good game for beginners.
Mechanical
Mostly mechanical.
3
We played with 3. The room is relatively well-confined so we wouldn't have wanted too many more.
Not scary

Fun, workable puzzles. The game is even better if players have seen the Home Alone movie(s).

Not at all
There are stairs involved and one portion, while provided a small flashlight, is pretty dark.

Very cool. One of the puzzles had an issue but everything else was great. Very nostalgic of the '90s.

One of our locks was unlocked when we entered (we relocked it because we didn’t want the hints) and the very first puzzle had broken tech. This broken tech cost us over ten minutes and a hint that we didn’t need. I’m not a super big fan of an extremely linear room like this was; if you get stuck there’s kinda no where to go. All that being said, some of the puzzles were entertaining, though not particularly challenging.
Too linear
The staff was nice but didn’t seem very apologetic about the fact that their tech was broken and cost us time and a hint.
Yes
The two tracks idea is cool!

Two games in one! A lot of fun. Can’t wait to go back and switch sides.
