Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

A pretty fun themed room! The set was very cartoony and fun, and the puzzles were in that sweet spot between obvious and difficult.

First off Eacapology Cypress has one of the best lobbies at an escape room company that I have found. On to the room. I loved scooby coo as a kid so this had a cool nostalgic feel. They did well with the space they were given but it leaves a lot to the imagination. Puzzles flowed well but there some that just lacked the love from the owners to fix and/or replace. The game was very fun. Now the biggest thing that is a pet peeve of mine. The GM needs to pay attention. There was a time where one of the props didn’t open as it should and the GM didn’t respond. After a few minutes they said we need to do the puzzle that we already did. It was clear they weren’t paying attention or the cameras were lagging or both. Other than that the room was a ton of fun. Well done.
So this really brought the room done. There were some puzzles or props that just didn’t work right due to wear and tear and need to be fixed or updated.

Aside from some minor technical issues with a couple puzzles, I thought this room was very fun and charming! If you book online there will be a 4 person minimum requirement, but if you call them they’re more than willing to let you attempt the room with less. The minimum requirement is a protection for beginners, but my group of 2 was still able to escape :)
