Zombie Outbreak [prev. Infected]

This was our second game at this location and I really wanted to like it but as a team of two people, I'm not convinced we ever could have finished it in time. There is a LOT to do, and some of the puzzles are TEDIOUS. One of the most tedious ones you'll actually have to do twice. By the time the second version was revealed I had already given up hope. Our frustration started with a lock that needed a lot of wiggling and manipulation to open and just increased from there, with poorly clued puzzles and overly worn props that didn't invite play but only exasperation.

Let’s start with positives The people here are fantastic, the overall theme of the location is great and one of my favorite games is here with Echo - play Echo here it’s an absolutely fantastic game (top 5 for me) The parking is easy, many food options in the area too. Now for the room The theme and environment is very immersive. Some very cool elements I’ve not seen in other rooms Our room ran into some issues however A few of the puzzles were malfunctioning and needed some direct intervention during the game. The crew were quick to respond but anytime you need some direct help for malfunctions; just takes some of the steam out of the game. Some of the other puzzle elements felt a bit over engineered. We love a good challenge but some elements just didn’t make a lot of sense to figure out without brute force Some of the elements for the puzzles have seen better days. And while I love some good weathering, they felt more disrepair vs immersive which impacted the game play a bit In short, fun location. Great people. Echo is top tier but maybe pass on this one We will be back for Big Foot. 😊

We’ve done bad escape rooms, and this wasn’t it. But it also wasn’t one of the better good escape rooms. It was a 6.5/10.

fun zombie room. cute themeing and silly lil scares

We have done about 30 escape rooms, Second time we visit this escape room and is our least favorite, not because of the rooms but mostly the Staff. We were assisted by Tati. She was not welcoming and lacked communication during the game. She took too long to answer and seen us struggling with puzzles that had already been completed due to special effect malfunctions. Some things lacked the flow of this room. Most likely, we will not return to this escape room because of the bad service we received.

no flow AT ALL. puzzles partially made sense, but were WAY too time consuming. "tried" to be scary.

It was a really fun escape room with some interesting puzzles and features! The GM wasn’t really into it which was kind of a bummer and when we asked for clues it took him a while to answer. And it wasn’t clear which locks we needed to unlock vs locks that weren’t part of the game. Overall a really neat room!

Fun game with both locks and electronics! Erie but not scary!

We were 3 minutes shy of being 1st on the leaderboard! This game was super fun, yet a bit challenging for just 2 people. We loved it!
