Deep Woods Cabin

Great room! Went with my boys, 14 and 12. Lots of puzzles to complete in the hour, made it challenging with just the 3 of us. Room was immersive and themed great for northern MN.

We did the Deep Woods escape room. It’s by far my favorite one we’ve ever done. So many great puzzles to figure out and a great room for our party of seven. The amount of effort put into this room was greatly appreciated by all in our party. Our guide (Andrew) did an exceptional job. He knew when and what clues to give us to direct us in our journey well. And he knew when we were close to unlocking a clue and just encouraged us forward in our experience. Truly this is a one-of-a kind find and the best entertainment in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Highly professional! Great price! Superb experience!

Today we returned to Copper Cat Escape Games in Brainerd so that we could try the Deep Woods Cabin room. When we were here yesterday we were talking to Allon after finishing our room and loved his passion for Escape Rooms. He said this Deep Woods Cabin room was his favorite and we wanted to give it a try. We had a great time! The room has a great backstory and you start in the woods outside of the cabin. Your first task is to figure out how to get in. The story is rich and the puzzles are just perfect. There is a wide variety of things to figure out. Your not just pounding codes into locks but have to really put the scene together. We were completely immersed from the very beginning. We were challenged but everything connected together. I’m proud to say we completed the room with no clues and 13m 08s on the clock. There were several puzzles that made us smile as they came together. We were very impressed with Copper Cat Escape Games. If you live in the Twin Cities it is a two hour drive and I think it would be worth it if you like escape rooms. You could book two or three of the rooms. Deep Woods Cabin is definitely one of the best, if not the best, that we’ve done in Minnesota. Room 61!

Highly recommend the Copper Cat to anyone in the BLA, it’s located on the second floor of the building downtown. The owner was very helpful and friendly. If we were stuck he provided clues to help when needed, please visit the Copper Cat!!

Really fun game! The puzzles are really well integrated into the room. Awesome theme-ing and excellent immersion. This is their hardest room and our experienced team (family of 4 with 50+ rooms under our belts) escaped with no clues in 36 min. Meaning, it wasn’t really that hard. But fun and flowed really well. I’d be willing to try their other rooms.
