Tales From The Attic

This is a very different experience, you are looking for words or phrases to complete poems. There are a lot of hearing components and situations where things should be on the screen of the TV to facilitate puzzles that were put on late (assuming game master triggered). Not my favorite at all, but the setting is so good I think a rework of some puzzles would make this a top tier room.

It is a decent game with a nice set and solid use of lighting. All the puzzles have a word (or phrase) answer, so if you do not like word-based puzzles, this game may not be for you. The story is cohesive and easy to follow. The game is not scary, but is slightly spooky, "goosebumps spooky". Overall, we had a nice time :)

It’s very clear that the setting for this one is next level and that’s where it is the strongest. The only thing keeping me from loving it is the puzzles could use a bit more work. I did go to this one 2 years ago so maybe things have changed!

The room is decent. Unusual in that you are solving clues for words to unlock puzzles. However, that focus made gameplay less cohesive. That said, it was a fun time.

Great room that was different from most. Some different elements that I haven't seen before and have played over 50+ rooms.. Production was nice and puzzles were fun to solve.

I really, really enjoyed this room! The story flow was exceptional - most rooms give you the scenario and that’s it. This one has a progression that keeps you very engaged. I recommend it to people ALL the time!

This room was definitely different, no traditional locks and keys, but writing a story. The atmosphere is incredible and Zach was an incredible GM. Definitely coming back!

Spooky without being scary, this room had a story that you play through as you solve puzzles. In contrast to most rooms the “keys” here are all words or phrases. Very atmospheric single-room set design. We needed help on a couple puzzles.
